Pre-Production Koenigsegg Jesko Unveiled

Orange looks perfect on the Jesko. Koenigsegg has just unveiled the pre-series production version of the Jesko hypercar, getting us one step closer to seeing the incredible specs customers have ordered. For the reveal example, Koenigsegg chose a Jesko finished in Tang Orange Pearl with silver and carbon fiber accents. This was, undoubtedly, a perfect choice because it looks absolutely incredible. The color also pays homage to the Koenigsegg CCR and the orange that we have seen it in. Koenigsegg plans on creating 125 examples of the Jesko and Jesko Absolut models. They will be producing the Jesko in their 10,000-square-meter facility. As for when we will start seeing them in the wild, the first customer cars are expected to be delivered starting in Spring 2022. See All Koenigseggs For Sale Source: Koenigsegg

Watch Nico Rosberg Rip a Koenigsegg Regera Around Monaco

The sound the Koenigsegg Regera makes is pure bliss. Nico Rosberg celebrated the Monaco GP with a very special drive through the circuit in a Koenigsegg Regera. This was Rosberg's first time in a Koenigsegg and he didn't hold back when he was behind the wheel. First, he took the hypercar through the same circuit that Formula 1 drivers take for the Monaco GP and then headed out for the mountains. When he made it to the mountain pass, he really opened the Regera up, allowing the twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 engine to breathe. The sounds this powertrain makes are absolutely wonderful and should be heard by all. Click play on the video up above to see and hear the Koenigsegg Regera in action. Watch Two Koenigsegg Jesko Prototypes Drift Around Ängelholm

Christian makes his father proud Jesko von Koenigsegg taught his son to think outside the box, and it has allowed them to build the world's most amazing hypercars. These gorgeous machines make use of their Freevalve technology, integrated into their 5-liter V8. It offers 1,281 horsepower and 1,106 lb-ft of torque. What really sets the Jesko apart from every other car is the LST. Dual-clutch transmissions cant compare to the Light Speed Transmission. It uses compound clutches to offer 9 gear ratios while being smaller and lighter than their 7-speed. Blistering shifts are accompanied by instant turbo spooling, thanks to having a 20-liter tank of compressed air. An onboard compressor stores 290 psi, ready to be injected to the turbos when they need to spin up. Koenigsegg Announces Body/Hair/Car Wash With New Car Smell

That "new car smell" never gets old. Some of us just love that new car smell and can't get enough of it. Koenigsegg knows just how popular it is and that's why they've announced their latest product: a 3-in-1 body/hair/car wash. This new product comes in a slick carbon fiber-looking, egg-shaped bottle that's quite stylish. What's more, its scent is "New Car Smell." Yes, you and your car can smell just like each other after a nice wash, and no more will people say you smell like an old car. After a wash with this new product, you'll be smelling like you just rolled off of the dealership lot. Of course, this was announced on April 1st and is clearly an April Fool's joke. Unless? No, I'm just kidding... Unless? I can't help thinking about how it would be to smell like a new car. See All Koenigseggs For Sale https://www.instagram.com/p/CNHo2ffHkDY/

Koenigsegg Assembly Line

Koenigsegg Regera Assembly Line Uncovered by Christian

Technology meets raw power in a delicate dance Perfection can't be rushed when it comes to multi-million dollar cars. So instead of turning out as many cars as possible, here is the Koenigsegg Regera assembly line uncovered by Christian. In their latest upload, we get a peek at what it takes to harness 1,500 horsepower. The Regera combines their own 5-liter V8 with twin turbos and the world's most advanced hybrid system. With electrical and leatherworking take place upstairs, the ground floor consists of 8 stations. Each station represents one week of production time from the bare cockpit to the fire-breathing beast. The engine and axles are installed as one unit, but the transmission is notably absent and that's why we love the Koenigsegg Regera. That's because the Regera doesn't have one. Instead, it makes use of electric motors at each rear wheel to move the car up to 80 mph. Then the driveshaft couples to the engine's crankshaft to form Koenigsegg Direct Drive. The power is supplied by another motor/generator that takes the place of a bellhousing. As if that wasn't enough, every electrical component from light bulbs to A/C actuators is solid-state. This makes it the most efficient car on the market, and capable of going 0-249 mph-0 in only 31.49 seconds. Transmissions are just dead weight, and that's why you need a Regera to reign over you! Regera Love

By Andrew Nabors –  February 15, 2021

Why We Love The Koenigsegg Regera

Transmissions are overrated, and that is one reason why we love the Koenigsegg Regera. Think about your favorite car and how your love for it ebbs and flows. Those feelings transcend make and model, hypercar owners are not immune. There are dozens of reasons why no competitor can touch the Regera. Starting with a blank slate, Christian and his team changed the way engine power reaches the ground. Because their 5-liter V8 offers 1,100 horsepower and 944 lb-ft of torque, you wouldn't need to shift gears even if you had them. Locking the crankshaft to the rear wheels is essentially like driving a stick shift around in 4th gear. While this would feel sluggish at low speeds, there is high voltage at your command. A generator wound into the bellhousing sends power to electric motors at each rear wheel. They power the car up to around 75 mph when the V8 is locked to the driveshaft and the fun really begins. Despite having a 2.73 differential, you will have 1,500 horsepower and 1,475 lb-ft of torque to the ground. Both the hybrid drive and the V8 are several times more powerful than your daily driver, and that is why the Regera reigns supreme. Their validation regimen for each car involves a sprint to 186 mph, so click the button to find yours. Koenigsegg For Sale Image (C) Koenigsegg

Taking delivery of a new hypercar should be the highlight of your Swedish vacation. To make sure your machine performs as advertised, every Koenigsegg Regera gets pushed to 186 mph in record time. Before delivery, Christian von Koenigsegg and his team go over each car with white gloves. In-Depth Video Review of the Koenigsegg Regera Megacar Because it doesn't have a transmission, the performance of the engine and the electric drive must be a flawless symphony. From idle to 78 mph, the engine generates voltage for the three electric motors, after that, the engine is locked to the rear wheels to offer 1,489 horsepower and 1,475 lb-ft of torque.
