Lamborghini Polo Storico, which recently celebrated its tenth anniversary, is the division of Automobili Lamborghini that is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich history of the manufacturer, which now dates back well over 60 years. This year also marks the 60th anniversary of one of the most formative and influential models in Lamborghini’s portfolio, the Miura.
Hailed as the world’s first supercar by many, the Lamborghini Miura was one of the first road-going vehicles to feature a mid-mounted V12 engine, along with the glamorous looks and exclusive production run that supercars are associated with today. At the inaugural Anantara Concorso Roma, which took place between April 16 and 19, Lamborghini Polo Storico revealed a newly completed restoration project of a Miura, coinciding with the anniversary year of the supercar icon.
A 1972 Lamborghini Miura SV, the car was restored to its original configuration after a painstaking and meticulous three years of work since it entered the doors of Polo Storico in 2023. Its authenticity and history have been certified by the department, and the car’s public debut took place at Anantara Concorso Roma, specifically at Casina Valdier.

Luci del Bosco, a stunning brown shade, is the car’s exterior color, while Senape adorns the interior. The car came into Polo Storico with a modified configuration, and the restoration to its original look took considerable effort. Alongside the newly restored Miura were a Miura P400, and two Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition cars, which were entered into the concours by their owners. A stunning celebration of Lamborghini history took place at the Anantara Concorso Roma, and that included both cars in the concours and a stunningly restored Miura from Lamborghini Polo Storico, showcased during the 60th anniversary year of the first supercar.
