Lamborghini’s 2026 Start Shows Hybrid Power Still Wins Big

Lamborghini kicks off 2026 strong with solid sales and steady growth

Numbers are in, and Automobili Lamborghini is reporting a solid start to 2026, with a promising Q1 centered on stability in what the marque calls a “complex international market”. The world feels a tad unpredictable, with market shifts and tensions rising, yet somehow the numbers coming out of Sant’Agata Bolognese tell a different story. In the first quarter of the year, Lamborghini delivered 2,620 cars, generating over $1 billion in revenue and a 23.1% operating margin.

“The first quarter presents a picture of both highlights and challenges, in a year that is shaping up to be demanding yet rich in important milestones for the brand. The start of deliveries of Temerario, completing an entirely hybridized product range, the solid order portfolio across the entire lineup, and the new models arriving in the coming months all confirm that the direction we have taken is the right one. These are the foundations on which we look to the rest of 2026 with purpose, confident that the strength of the brand continues to be recognized by customers around the world.” -Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini

Part of that shift comes down to timing. After 2025, Lamborghini seems to have found its rhythm again, spreading deliveries more evenly and expanding its global footprint. Europe, the Middle East, and Africa still lead the way in sales and deliveries, but the Americas and Asia-Pacific markets are still adding to the momentum, keeping the brand on top across regions. Even with currency shifts and U.S. tariffs chipping away at the bottom line, it's nothing that has seriously impacted its day-to-day. If anything, it suggests Lamborghini’s current strategy is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Then there’s the fact that every model in the lineup now plays a key role in its hybrid-driven future. The Revuelto, the Urus SE, and the new Temerario all contribute to a fully electrified range, each offering a new level of performance for its flagship models. Buyers seem to be jumping on board, too, with long waitlists and nearly sold-out allocations for 2026.
