Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 Revealed: A New Hybrid V12...

The legendary supercar has finally returned. The new Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 has been unveiled as a hybrid V12 hypercar that will, without question, take your breath away. Its design is clearly inspired by the classic supercar but with a modern twist. The end result is a new Lamborghini hypercar that is an instant icon. As mentioned before, this most definitely houses a hybrid V12 powertrain as the Aventador Ultimae was the final Lamborghini to be powered solely by a V12 engine. The 6.5-liter V12 engine produces 769 horsepower while the supercapacitor-powered 48-volt emotor provides an additional 34 horsepower for a total of 803 horsepower. With a monocoque chassis and body panels, all made of carbon fiber, the new Countach's low dry weight of 3,516 lbs means the power will go quite a ways in terms of performance. For the new Lamborghini Countach's design, hints of the classic supercar can be found throughout, especially in its silhouette. Upfront are two horizontal headlights, although flip-up heads are obviously not included. In the rear, an inverted wedge shade can be found with taillight clusters that are unmistakably mirroring the classic. There are also four exhaust tailpipes located down low, just like the original. Another design aspect that cannot go unnoticed is the side "gills" that mimic the classic Countach but are much more pronounced. These vents are also located on the doors, which are, of course, scissor doors. These doors open up to an interior that also takes design cues from the original Countach, like the geometric stitching on the comfortable-looking seats. Lamborghini will be creating just 112 examples of the Countach LPI 800-4, with deliveries starting in the first quarter of 2022. There will be a range of heritage exterior paint options available for the new Countach, including Giallo Countach and Verde Medio, as well as Lamborghini's modern palette of paints. Learn all about the legendary supercar that we all had on our walls as a poster. 1985.5 Lamborghini Countach Downdraft Driven by CURATED

Who else loves Group B? When Ferrucio Lamborghini saw Ferrari's 288 GTO, he knew the Countach was capable of spanking it. Therefore he turned to his trusted team led by Valentino Balboni and Horacio Pagani to build the ultimate Countach race car. Instead of fuel injection, the Downdraft is topped with racing caurburetors. No chokes, big cams, aggressive gearing, and a brutal suspension were homogized to be sold on the street, and somehow John Temerian found this one in great shape. Lamborghini Celebrates 20 Years Of The Modena Centro Ore

The fastest Italian supercars have been racing from Rome to Modena for the past 2 decades. In the spirit of the world's greatest road races, the Lamborghini Museum decided to celebrate with two classics. Their first entry was a 1973 Jarama GTS driven by Gerald Kahkle. Lamborghini Countach Barn Find in Grandma's Garage

Barn find cars are some of the greatest things I can come across in my search for news. Seriously, there's nothing like seeing an exotic or classic car being rediscovered after years of being ignored. It's most certainly sad that these cars are ignored, but sometimes they're left alone for so long that they're like windows into the past. For one Reddit user, u/eriegin, she ended up finding a 1981 Lamborghini Countach in her grandma's garage. Sell My Lamborghini Countach: Get a Cash Offer According to one of her comments, her late grandfather had an exotic car rental business in 1989. Unfortunately, costs became too high for him to operate the company but he at least kept a Countach and Ferrari 308. The classic Italian exotic car had been resting in the "leaky" garage for over 20 years, allowing dust and rust to cover it. It sure is sad, but I'm glad that he's finding joy in the long forgotten car. Barn Find Hunter Uncovers $4,000,000 Of Classics The Reddit user also notes that she's looking to get rid of the 308 and Countach in the near future, but they're "not officially for sale, per se."
