Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster Makes Its German Debut

When the Lamborghini Fenomeno was introduced at last year’s Monterey Car Week, it represented a new milestone in a celebrated legacy of ultra-exclusive, limited-production models from the manufacturer. Starting from the Reventón and continuing with models like the Veneno, Centenario, Sián, and Countach LPI 800-4, each envisions the near future of Lamborghini design and technology, while also serving as collector-worthy masterpieces with their exclusivity. Earlier this year, Lamborghini unveiled the Fenomeno Roadster, the open-top counterpart to the Fenomeno, and the stunning car just made its German debut this past weekend. It happened at the Concours of Elegance Germany 2026, one of the most prestigious automotive events in the country, located at Gut Kaltenbrunn, on the Lake Tegernsee coast. Lamborghini Munich presented the manufacturer’s display at the event, which included many other Lamborghini icons alongside the new Fenomeno Roadster. The most powerful open-top Lamborghini yet, the Fenomeno Roadster uses a hybrid powertrain to reach 0-60 in less than 2.4 seconds. Also on display at the event were the Temerario and the Urus SE. Both making use of V8 hybrid powertrains, the Temerario evolves Lamborghini’s supercar formula with its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, which revs to 10,000 rpm, and its plug-in hybrid system, giving it over 900 horsepower in total. Meanwhile, the Urus SE is one of Lamborghini’s most powerful Super SUVs, with 800 horsepower from its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 and hybrid combo, also boasting the ability to challenge varied terrain and accommodate two rows of occupants in luxury. <- Gallery -> Classic Lamborghinis also took the stage at the Concours of Elegance, like the Countach, Diablo, and Miura. The Miura, considered the world’s first supercar, is currently celebrating its 60th anniversary year, while its Miura SV variant turns 55. Bringing Sant’Agata Bolognese automotive excellence to Germany for one of its most prestigious automotive gatherings, the Lamborghini presence at this year’s Concours of Elegance Germany was a celebration of the brand’s cherished legacy, culminating in the Fenomeno Roadster, its latest exclusive masterpiece. How Italian Designer Elena Salmistraro Interprets the Limited-Run Lamborghini Fenomeno

Automobili Lamborghini has released Sculpting the Soul, a short film documenting Milan-based designer Elena Salmistraro’s interaction with the Lamborghini Fenomeno, the one-off hybrid V12 flagship that marks 20 years of Lamborghini Centro Stile and two decades since the Reventón established the modern few-off program. Salmistraro, recognized globally for her collaborations with world-renowned brands and for her work spanning collectible design objects, interiors, and structural installations, approaches each project through drawing. Color is what defines her process, and she begins with rapid sketches that evolve into fully defined forms. <- Gallery -> “Design for me is a dream. It’s energy and life. Everything I do starts with a mark, a gesture on paper, and every day I am inspired to draw. I always say I'm not good with words, but with drawing, I can bring out who I am. When I saw the Fenomeno for the first time, I was immediately struck by the level of detail. I instantly felt the urge to touch it, and of course to sit in it.” - Elena Salmistraro She also noted the precision of the carbon fiber weave and the consistency of Lamborghini’s signature hexagonal graphics and Y-shaped motifs, elements that connect the car directly to the Italian marque’s design DNA. Lamborghini’s Head of Design, Mitja Borkert, led the development of Fenomeno’s form. Last year, duPont REGISTRY got an up close look during the Fenomeno’s U.S. debut at Pebble Beach. Limited to just 29 examples worldwide, all of which have already been spoken for, the Fenomeno produces 1,064 horsepower from a naturally aspirated V12 paired with electric motors, making it the most powerful Lamborghini road car to date. Sculpting the Soul reinforces Lamborghini’s position not only as a performance manufacturer but as a design authority whose influence extends beyond the automotive sector.
