Lamborghini Debuts The Exclusive Huracán STO SC 10° Anniv...

Lamborghini debuts the Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario, a tribute to a decade of Squadra Corse and motorsport excellence. At the prestigious World Finals 2023, Automobili Lamborghini has taken off the covers to its latest marvel, the new Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario. This limited-edition launch marks a milestone in Lamborghini's journey, celebrating ten years of its renowned Squadra Corse motorsports division. The Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario represents Lamborghini's permanent bond between its road range and the adrenaline-fueled world of automotive racing. The track-focused supercar’s design is an homage to Lamborghini's racing heritage, drawing inspiration from the Lamborghini SC63, the hybrid prototype set to compete in prestigious endurance races like the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The striking two-tone livery features a Verde Mantis and Nero Noctis finish, accented with a tricolor band. The bespoke livery mirrors the colors of the SC63 while the “Squadra Corse 10° Anniversario” logo on both doors commemorates the division's numerous victories, including three consecutive GTD class wins at Daytona. Beyond its aggressive road presence, the Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario showcases remarkable technical advancements. Its full carbon fiber package, trimmed with a Rosso Mars stripe, enhances aero aesthetics. New carbon fiber flicks on the rear hood and an elevated wing increase downforce, optimizing the Huracán STO's handling and stability. The mechanical grip is significantly enhanced with racing-derived, four-way adjustable shock absorbers, a departure from standard active components. The interior is tailored for track performance, featuring sport seats upholstered in Nero Ade Alcantara with Verde Fauns stitching, four-point seat belts, and an aluminum roll bar for optimum safety. The Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario doesn't just look like a race car; it performs like one. Collaborating with Bridgestone, Lamborghini developed new tires with a unique compound, ensuring exceptional performance and durability. The Akrapovic titanium exhaust system elevates the auditory experience, bringing the power of the V10 engine to life. This limited-edition masterpiece, embodying a decade of Lamborghini's racing and engineering expertise, represents a new era in road-legal, track-focused performance. Lamborghini Huracán Replacement Spied Without V10 Exhaust...

The end of the V10 is unfortunately nigh. The Lamborghini Huracán is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, one of the most iconic supercars ever created, and much of its splendor is owed to its V10 engine. From its inception, the V10 has been a rare and special power unit, and as Lamborghini and the rest of the automotive world begin transitioning towards electrification, the V10’s short time as a niche high performance engine is coming to an end. The naturally aspirated 10-cylinder engine developed immense power, but more importantly, a gloriously unique sound that only a handful of other cars made could come close to. However, the progress of the automotive industry means that the V10 era is coming to an end for Lamborghini, and with cars like the Huracán Tecnica and Huracán Sterrato, the Fighting Bull is sending its beloved V10 engine off beautifully. As the future quickly approaches, a prototype of the replacement for the Lamborghini Huracán has recently been spied in a new video on the YouTube channel Acriore outside Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy headquarters, and despite being heavily camouflaged, what couldn’t be concealed was its lack of a V10 exhaust note. Rumor has it that Lamborghini’s upcoming new entry-level supercar will feature a twin-turbocharged V8 with a hybrid system, akin to that of the new Revuelto, which produces an incredibly impressive 1,001 total horsepower. While it may be unfortunate that the V10 era of Lamborghini’s 60-year history is quickly coming to an end, the possibilities of Lamborghini’s future supercar are optimistic, especially considering the impressive Revuelto’s power figure. Lamborghini is known for its incredible supercar repertoire, so there is little doubt that whatever powers the Huracán’s replacement is sure to be excellent and at the cutting edge of engineering and technology.
