This is the Largest Riva Superyacht Ever Built

This is the Largest Riva Superyacht Ever Built

While the world's largest megayachts tend to steal the spotlight on social media, bigger isn't always better once they're off the screen. It's their sheer size that often limits where they can dock, making it harder to pull into smaller marinas and explore coastal towns, beaches, and restaurants on a whim, something smaller, more practical superyachts do with ease. The team at Riva Yacht has embraced this throughout its marine fleet, ranging from the 27-foot Iseo series to the 130-foot Bellisima, all engineered and built with a perfect balance of luxury and performance. Not jumping into megayacht territory, but standing out as the current record holder, the Riva 54Metri is the largest Riva ever built. At 177 feet, managing weight became a key priority for Riva, especially as the brand continues to preserve its performance-focused identity, where speed remains a defining characteristic. To achieve a lightweight construction built for speed, the Italian shipyard engineered all 54.83 meters of 54Metri in an all-aluminum design, keeping gross tonnage under 500 GT, almost 40% lighter than a traditional steel-and-composite vessel of its size. Add in a finish combining Moon Grey, London Grey, and Bright Black to its sharp lines, and it looks like one of the most sophisticated and contemporary yachts on the water. The 54Metri's layout is designed to make the most of life on the water, with six expansive decks that each serve a purpose. A beach club at the stern creates an easy connection to the sea, while the spacious aft decks are set up for everything from long lunches outdoors to evening cocktails at anchor. Up top, the sundeck offers panoramic views with plenty of room for lounging, dining, and soaking up the sun, making it just as enjoyable underway as it is tied up at the harbor. Inside, Riva tapped into its Italian styling and craftsmanship. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the salon with natural light, creating an open space complemented by warm woods, polished metals, and carefully selected stone finishes. The yacht comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests across six staterooms, including a full-beam owner's suite that resembles the suite of a 5-star hotel. Crew accommodations are generous, allowing up to nine crew members to deliver the level of service expected aboard a yacht like this.Performance is where the 54Metri separates itself from most yachts in the same class. Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines producing 2,634 horsepower each, the all-aluminum yahct reaches a top speed of around 18 knots while maintaining a comfortable cruising speed of 15 knots. Rather than simply chasing bigger dimensions, the 54Metri proves that thoughtful engineering, elegant design, and real-world usability can make an even stronger statement on the water. Sanlorenzo's New Superyacht Has a Tree Growing Through Two Decks

Sanlorenzo's New Superyacht Has a Tree Growing Through Two Decks

Just like the automotive world, the luxury yachting industry is defined by its icons and pioneers, those constantly pushing the boundaries of what life on the open sea can look like. And as the industry continues to evolve, yachts and superyachts are increasingly taking shape as floating, five-star resorts in their own right. For the past 60 years, Sanlorenzo has taken great pride in being one of those early Italian builders, crafting tailor-made yachts that double as works of art. Today, the team at Sanlorenzo is proud to add the all-new 74Steel Virtuosity to its fleet, marking the second build in its flagship line. While the Alloy line focuses on aluminum construction for higher speeds, efficiency, and spacious layouts, the Steel series takes things a step further with a larger overall design for longer ranges and an explorer lifestyle. The 74Steel stands out as the largest configuration in the series at 240 feet, with four luxurious levels of space that cater to both entertainment and relaxation. GALLERY-EMBED The exterior, shaped by Zuccon International Project, shows off bold styling, but it’s the interior where things really start to feel different. Instead of a collection of separate rooms, the yacht flows as a single continuous living space, with nature literally part of the theme. A living ficus tree grows through two decks, acting almost like a sculptural spine, while a submerged aquarium built into the hull brings the ocean into view from within the yacht.  GALLERY-EMBED Across its decks, the on-water experience is more like a private floating residence than a yacht in the traditional sense. The “Ocean Resort” concept sets the tone on the main deck, while upper levels are designed around openness and natural light. Every detail has been tailored to reflect a personal vision, proving that today’s superyachts aren’t just built, they’re composed.

Axopar Built the Boat Everyone Keeps Buying

Axopar Built the Boat Everyone Keeps Buying

In the ever-evolving marine world, some boats come and go with the trends, while others just keep showing up year after year. The Axopar 37 falls into that second category. For the second year in a row, it’s the best-selling outboard-powered boat in the 35–40 ft segment in the U.S., sourced by registration and retail data. In a market that’s only gotten more competitive with a number of new brands and boat builders, that consistency says more than any spec sheet ever could.Part of its success comes down to how widely it’s used. The Axopar 37 isn’t locked into one type of owner or one type of boating. It’s showcased as a weekend day boat, a long-range cruiser, a support vessel for larger yachts, and even in commercial or government roles. With thousands of units globally, it’s had a chance to prove itself in all kinds of conditions, which probably explains why resale values remain relatively strong and why buyers keep circling back to it.The hull is predictable in a good way, with stable handling across a wide range of speeds. It’ll cruise comfortably in the 20–40 knot range without burning through fuel at an unimaginable rate, which matters more now than it used to. The helm is straightforward, with good visibility and controls that don’t take much time to get used to. It focuses on being easy to live with, whether you’re out for a quick run or spending a full day onboard.Axopar’s design focuses on practicality, with spaces that can be set up for different uses without being overly complicated. Details like the gullwing doors actually change how the boat feels when you’re moving from bow to stern. For now, at least, the Axopar 37 seems content doing what it’s always done, holding its place while everything around it keeps changing.

ISA Yachts x Lobanov Design Unveil Its 70M 'Blade' Superyacht

Luxury yachting has evolved like no other over the years, reimagined as a five-star experience at sea where world-class amenities and design make every moment on the water feel like a true home away from home. Offering an experience like that proves to be a feat in itself, which is why yacht building has become a meeting of the minds, bringing together the very best in their respective fields to create something truly exceptional for marine adventurers. ISA Yachts and Lobanov Design perfectly showcase that strategy as the duo is proud to unveil the 70M Blade superyacht as its newest collaboration. Under Palumbo Superyachts' umbrella of luxury yachting brands, ISA has positioned the Blade 70 within the growing “grand sport” segment. It's a whole new class focused on fast, aggressive yachts with vertical bows, but approaches it with a softer, more sculptural perspective inspired by early 20th-century ship design. The bow design of the Blade 70 gives it a super-specific profile that’s slightly reversed and concave, balancing modern and nostalgic elements for marine enthusiasts. The entire yacht flows as a single, continuous shape, with clean lines running from bow to stern, giving it a mesmerizing appearance. Details are subtle but deliberate, like hidden anchor systems, integrated hull graphics, and glasswork that plays with the light. The aft section features a transforming garage door that doubles as a bench overlooking the water, blurring the line between engineering and lifestyle.A steel hull and aluminum “superstructure” keep things solid, while twin MTU engines push the Blade 70 to a top speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising range of around 5,000 nautical miles. Inside, the interior offers a more private, owner-focused experience, with the master suite on the upper deck, complete with its own terrace facing the open sea. While a completion or delivery date has yet to be announced, the ISA Blade 70 is sure to turn heads when it makes its seaworthy debut.

Nor-Tech 390 Sport Gets XPEL Protection And Your Boat Can...

This particular Nor-Tech 390 Sport received a comprehensive XPEL Marine Protection treatment from Marine Protection Solutions in Mahwah, New Jersey, combining advanced film and ceramic coating technology to shield every surface from the harsh marine environment. Hullside Protection with Film and Ceramic Coating The full hull sides of this Nor-Tech, extending 1/2” above the chine, were treated with a combination of protective film and ceramic coating. These layers are the ultimate defense against dock rash, low-speed impacts, and UV damage, which can lead to oxidation and a chalky, faded appearance. The marine protection film also provides a deep, glossy finish that surpasses the natural shine of the boat’s painted and clear-coated surface while acting as a sacrificial layer to absorb minor scratches and scuffs from everyday use. Engine Cowling and Painted Surfaces: Shielded and Shining The engine cowlings, often exposed to harsh UV rays and salt spray, received XPEL’s advanced film and ceramic coating for superior protection. This prevents rope rub and minor abrasions, preserving its sleek appearance. Similarly, the gunnels and interior painted surfaces were meticulously coated to shield high-contact areas from scratches, scuffs, and stains while maintaining a showroom-quality shine. Interior and Upholstery Made Maintenance-Free The upholstery of this Nor-Tech 390 Sport was ceramic coated to resist stains from sunscreen, drinks, and bird droppings, offering unmatched protection for its white vinyl surfaces. This coating not only safeguards the interior’s appearance but also makes cleanup effortless, ensuring the luxury and elegance of the seating is preserved. " width="680"> Ceramic Coating for Total Boat Protection The entire boat was finished with a ceramic coating, eliminating the need for waxing and simplifying maintenance, especially for removing salt and grime. This hydrophobic layer ensures water beads off easily, keeping the Nor-Tech looking pristine with minimal effort. With XPEL Marine Protection, this Nor-Tech 390 Sport is fully equipped to face the challenges of the open water. From dockside to offshore, its aesthetics, performance, and value are protected, making it a truly worry-free masterpiece on the waves. Learn More About XPEL Marine WHY CHOOSE MARINE PROTECTION FILMS AND COATINGS? Boat owners can greatly benefit from applying protection film or ceramic coating to their vessels for several compelling reasons. First, these protective layers help prevent dock rash, a common issue where boats get scratched and scuffed when in contact with docks or other boats. This is particularly valuable for maintaining the vessel’s appearance and resale value. Marine protection film and ceramic coatings also shield boats from minor scratches and scuffs caused by general use. They offer crucial UV protection, which prevents oxidation on boats with gel coats. Without this protection, gel coats, especially in darker colors, begin to oxidize, creating a chalky, faded look that necessitates labor-intensive sanding and refinishing. These coatings also protect against rope rub, especially on stern areas tied up in tidal waters. This can prevent significant damage to expensive engine cowlings and other parts. The hullside film adds a deep, glossy finish that surpasses the standard shine of gel coat and acts as a sacrificial layer in case of low-speed impacts.  Ceramic coatings also eliminate the need for waxing, making maintenance easier and more effective, especially for salt removal. Additionally, they guard upholstery from stains caused by sunscreen, drinks, and bird droppings, preserving the boat’s interior, particularly on white vinyl surfaces. ABOUT MARINE PROTECTION SOLUTIONS Whether it’s a sleek speedboat or a majestic yacht, trust us to enhance your watercraft with installations that are as flawless as they are functional.
