Silent-Yachts Sells Three Electric 80 Tri-Deck Catamarans...

Silent-Yachts has announced that they have sold three examples of their exciting and electric 80 Tri-Deck catamaran. The Silent 80 Tri-Deck is the shipyard's most advanced version of their flagship model. Silent-Yachts notes that among the three examples sold, there are both open and closed versions of the catamaran. The closed version has a sky lounge on the top deck, while the open version has a vast fly deck. No matter the version, the top of each catamaran will host a solar panel that provides power to the electric motors. Yes, as the name suggests, these vessels run quietly thanks to electric motors. As for the interior, which was designed by Arch. Marco Casali, guests are given stunning views thanks to massive windows found on each deck. The Silent 80 Tri-Deck also offers plenty of social spaces found both aft and forward which can be used for entertaining. Base pricing for the Silent 80 Tri-Deck is set at 5.51 million euros, or just over $6.6 million USD. The shipyard has also announced that they're working on an even bigger project, as well. Van der Valk's 108-foot Blue Jeans Yacht is Now Being Built

The Van der Valk shipyard has just announced that construction is officially underway on the 33m (108-foot) Blue Jeans yacht. This sleek new yacht was designed to provide ample casual and comfortable entertainment for all guests aboard, hence the name Blue Jeans. Because at the end of the day, what's more casual and comfortable than a pair of your favorite jeans? A lot of the entertaining will take place in the large lounge which features three seating zones and a dining area. If guests want to take a swim, they can dive off of the retractable dice board that is built into the flybridge bulwarks. When it's time to go ashore, Blue Jeans hosts a large garage that houses a Carbon Craft CC130 turbojet tender. Blue Jeans is expected to be delivered in the Summer of 2022. Tom Brady Takes Victory Lap in Stunning Yacht

If you've watched any video from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' parade after winning the Big Game, you've more than likely seen Tom Brady in his yacht. In fact, you probably saw the video where he throws the Lombardi trophy to Gronkowski, boat-to-boat. If you haven't, check out the gallery up above of Brady celebrating, courtesy of @ryanclapper. The yacht Brady is seen on is actually a Wajer 55, a perfect choice for the Tampa Bay waters. His is named 'Viva A Vida' after Gisele Bündchen's charity. Source: Wajer.com First, it has a solid top speed of 40 knots, meaning it can run out into the Gulf of Mexico quickly. Secondly, this yacht comes packing amenities that make it perfect for relaxing days on the water. The comfortable and spacious seating will allow for plenty of guests, whether it's the sun pads on the bow and aft, or the U-shaped couch behind the cockpit. Underneath are two beds for guests, a fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a full bathroom with a shower, and a master suite. One of the coolest features Tom Brady's boat has in store is its extendable swim platform that can be raised to also act as a gangway. The price is unknown, but I'd expect it to be a multi-million dollar yacht. Be sure to check out all of our latest yacht and boat news. " width="680"> Source: Wajer.com

Our Perfect Day on the Water in the Upper Keys

Presented by Regulator Marine - While Regulator has a 30-year reputation as a hardcore offshore fishing platform, every boat in their lineup provides a good bit of luxury and comfort without giving up serious fishability, which makes it a perfect vessel for exploring the Florida Keys. Creature comforts like forward sun shades and electric aft SureShade® are ideal options for sandbar lounging. Plenty of seating, built-in coolers and optional sunbed and pedestal tables put a full day of cruising and fun well within reach. Ready to fish? Massive cockpits, oversized tackle centers and optional Taco Grand Slam outriggers make the most of one of the most reliable and best-riding center consoles on the water today. And beyond these standout features, you are getting the power and performance of Yamaha engines, best-in-class Garmin® electronics and so much more. We caught up with the Regulator team and some local friends to explore a few of their favorite Florida Keys spots. The “Family” Sandbar “That’s what we call it anyway!” says local Regulator dealer Ryan Jacobson of YachtWorks. “I love to bring my little ones there. You see crabs and small fish gliding over the shallows, the kids can toddle around at low tide…it’s a great place to just sit and take it in.” Located off of Snake Creek, the locals-first sandbar is safe, quiet and very sandy by Keys standards. Alligator Reef No secret here – Alligator Reef is among the best known fishing areas in the Keys. “Kite fishing the edges of the reef is fun because you have the opportunity to catch a lot of different species. Your primary target is sailfish but mutton snapper are often caught off of a three-way rig dropped to the bottom. It’s a style of fishing that keeps the entire cockpit active,” says local fishing and adventure guide Nate Weinbaum of KeysXplorer. “If you head another 15-20 miles off the reef, you can deep drop for queen snapper and other deep water species using electric reels – perfect day.” Snooks Bayside “Our favorite spot in the Keys for drinks and delicious local fish,” says local Regulator dealer Mike DeFrancesco of YachtWorks. “Plenty of space to dock, and every seat in the house gives you beautiful water views surrounding by nature, tiki torches and island vibes.” Everything in between “I could go on for days about my favorite spots!” said DeFrancesco. “Exploring the Keys by water is the best way to take in the natural beauty and relaxed fun that put it on the map. But don’t take our word for it. Join us for a sea trial!” Regulator Marine manufactures premiere center console fishing boats from 23-41 feet. Azimut Yachts is Hosting a Private Boat Show in Florida

From February 12-14, Azimut Yachts will be putting on a private boat show in Pompano Beach, Florida. This event will allow clients and friends of clients to see a wide range of models-- the event's website notes that 14 different yacht models will be present. A private event like this will allow Azimut Yachts to introduce their lineup in a more personal manner, giving each guest an up-close look at the intricacies of their vessels. What's more, the absence of the Miami Yacht Show in 2021 left the company without a chance to display their latest models with the Eastern United States. For more information, be sure to visit AzimutYachts.com. Also, be sure to check out Azimut Yachts' 38m Tri-Deck, their largest yacht yet. Source: Azimut Yachts

Gigawave Boat Promises Largest Wave Ever for Wake Surfing

Surfing small waves can be fun, but after a while, it can grow stale. There's only so much you can do on a small wave and that's why surfers are always waiting for the next big swell. When it comes to wake surfing, there's never a swell on the horizon but instead the wake from a boat. Gigawave, however, is looking to make their own swell for wake surfers with the 350 GW-X boat. According to Gigawave, this boat is designed to create the largest wave ever for wake surfing-- we're talking just about head-high waves. With that kind of size, wake surfers will have much more wave face to work with. What's more, this could push other boat manufacturers to create new boats with bigger waves. Powering the Gigawave boat are two 300 horsepower electric engines with an undisclosed amount of torque. As for the dimensions, it has an LOA of 35', a beam of 10'6" and a capacity for 28 people. That's quite impressive. Be sure to check the video up above to learn more and also check out 2021's best yachter charter destinations. Source: Gigawave
