BRABUS Marine Debuts Its Next Generation of SuperBoats at...

Fort Lauderdale is the place to be this weekend to see the biggest and baddest BRABUS boats. For the fourth year running, Axopar Boats and BRABUS Marine are back at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, better known as FLIBS, to show off what they've been working on. It's the world's biggest in-water boat show, and if you've ever walked the docks, you know it's where buyers come to find their next ocean voyager. This year, both brands have arrived with a fresh lineup, smarter tech, and a few surprises that perfectly capture what makes them leaders in the luxury boating world. The biggest head-turner this year is the BRABUS Shadow 1500 XC Cross Cabin Phantom Grey, making its world debut right here in Florida. After its first public outing in Cannes, the 45-foot beast now hits U.S. waters with 1,500 horsepower courtesy of three Mercury Racing V8s. Every detail, from the carbon accents to the "Ice" upholstery, feels tailored for those in search of the same kind of precision and performance found in the BRABUS' supercars and superSUVs. Axopar's approach this year leans into more intelligent boating, thanks to the new Axopar Connect app and its redesigned user interface. It's a digital ecosystem that combines real-time data, safety alerts, and trip information into one clean, intuitive layout. Integrated with Simrad's multifunction displays, the new UI feels like the future of boating, with less fuss, more insight, and a genuinely enjoyable way to stay connected to your boat. Visitors at FLIBS can actually try it out on-site, and it's easy to imagine this kind of tech becoming standard across the industry in a few years. Meanwhile, the BRABUS Performance Line is expanding across the entire Axopar range, which means even the smaller 22, 25, and 29 models can now sport that distinctive BRABUS styling. There's real performance tuning behind it, but the aesthetic touches are hard to miss, with blacked-out details, red stitching, and that unmistakable BRABUS steering wheel. It's the upgrade that speaks to people who want more personality in their boat, something that's as exciting to drive as it looks docked in the marina. And then there's the Axopar 37 Iconic Edition, a nod to the brand's best-selling U.S. model and one that's earned its place as a true modern classic. The new edition doesn't reinvent the wheel but refines it with new colors like Icon Grey and Glacier Blue, free package upgrades, and fresh upholstery options. For a boat that's already topped its segment in U.S. sales, it's a well-deserved celebration of everything that's made it so popular. Together, Axopar and BRABUS Marine are proving once again that performance boating doesn't have to be predictable. Whether it's a 1,500-horsepower powerhouse or a smarter, more connected helm, both brands are steering the conversation toward what's next. Protecting What I Love With Protection Films And Coatings

My boating background started as a young one, as far back as a 4 year old growing up on the water, fishing, and tubing with my family during the summer. This passion for boats and water has always been a part of my life. Over the last 20 years, I have personally had multiple boats; from 5 Wakeboard/Ski boats, to 2 regular Runabout boats, and 3 Go-Fast boats ranging in length from 21 feet long up to a 38-foot offshore style go-fast boat. XPEL Marine Window Film not only makes the boat look sleeker but also serves a greater purpose. With the window film installed, I can now see my large dash displays that are like two mini-iPads. Before, the sun’s glare was so bad it was hard to see the displays in the sun. Now I can see them clearly, while in full sun. This will also prevent the screens and vinyl dash from being damaged or faded by the sun’s harmful UV rays. I feel like this was a great improvement, as this helps solve multiple issues we have here in Arizona. XPEL Marine Protection Film (MPF) was installed on the complete sides of the hull from bow to stern. MPF was also installed on the rear transom and along the leading edges of the swim platform. We then protected all high-impact areas on the upper edges of the boat where people put their arms and get in and out of the boat for added protection. This will ensure there is no chance of scratching the gelcoat and protect it from general wear and tear. A marine protection film was installed here for multiple reasons. Any time you are tied up at the dock, you will get scratches from the dock and your bumpers, regardless of how good your bumpers are or how careful you are. Also, doing the complete sides of the hull stops any scratches from happening when loading the boat on the trailer from the guiding pulls – AKA my wife bumping them any time she loads the boat on the trailer. Doing this also helps offer protection from road debris and chips from truck or trailer tires while traveling down the road. Protecting the rear transom and swim platform is a must. Over the years, owning ski and wake boats, I have had more people hit the transom and swim platform with wakeboards or skis. These impacts have scratched or chipped the boat's gelcoat, generating costly repairs from the damage. XPEL Marine Ceramic Coating was applied on all gelcoat surfaces, PPF, and glass. There is nothing worse than cleaning a 95% black boat after a great day on the water. Before doing the PPF and Ceramic Coating, this would take 30-40 minutes to wipe down correctly. XPEL Marine Ceramic Coating has been a game changer. This now takes 10 minutes to do correctly, even in our 110-degree-plus summer weather in Arizona. With ceramic coating, 85% of the water runs off as I pull the boat out of the water. Hacker-Craft Boats: Hand Crafted Since 1908

Presented by Hacker-Craft - The story of Hacker-Craft begins all the way back in 1891 when founder John L. Hacker built his first boat - a rowboat. This one boat would prove to be the catalyst for Mr. Hacker's future in the marine world. From there, he would go on to create many extraordinary vessels like the Kitty Hawk II in 1916, which was billed as the fastest boat in the world for power at its time, as well as six runabouts for E.W. Gregory of Belle Isle Boat and Engine Company in 1921. It wasn't until 1929 that the famous Hacker Boat Company logo was applied to boats, but it was done so in brilliant fashion. These logos were applied to boats by hand with thin 23-carat gold leaf sheets tapped that were tapped onto the boat's mahogany planing and then burled and outlined in paint. This process is still used to this day, almost a century later. Today, the Hacker Boat Company, Inc. is the world’s largest builder of classic mahogany motorboats as the builders of Hacker-Craft. Considered one of the most authentic American-made brands, each boat with the Hacker-Craft logo is using the benchmark process and quality standards that launched the legacy. By spending thousands of hours on every Hacker-Craft, as well as implementing the modern materials and power sources, their master craftsmen ensure that the boats are of the utmost quality that the brand is known for. The result is a classically designed boat that features the latest in technology, engines and materials. For sale right now on duPont REGISTRY are two impeccable examples of Hacker-Craft boats, a 24 Runabout and 27 Sport. Historic 'Warpath' Powerboat is Heading to Auction

Presented by Ferco Motors - It was back in 1984 for the Offshore Power Boat World Championship that the wind was howling, prompting the catamaran drivers to be wary of the 5 to 10-foot seas. There was one driver, however, that was happy about the conditions. That man was Bob Saccenti of Team Apache Racing who would be the throttles of Warpath, a 41-foot deep-vee offshore racing boat, while Ben Kramer was Driver and Tom Evans was Navigator. While the catamarans are best suited for flat water to skip across, they do not fare well in high seas. For Saacenti and the Warpath, these conditions gave him a one-up over the competition. Warpath would go on to dominate the 1984 World Championship, placing the boat in powerboat history. Automotive Photography by Deremer Studios, LLC Automotive Photography by Deremer Studios, LLC Now, Warpath is heading to auction and is doing so in remarkable condition. Between 2007 and 2009, the boat was given a bow to stern restoration that was overseen by Tom Evans, the original crew chief of Team Apache Racing and navigator for the 1984 world championship season and Gail Paik, the original artist. Automotive Photography by Deremer Studios, LLC Warpath came to Gail and Tom in already solid condition, with no structural repairs necessary. The sturdy Kevlar deep-vee hull was already built for heavy seas, allowing it to remain in fantastic condition. Still, the crew brought Warpath back to its original glory through the restoration of the graphics, mechanical, and cabin features. This includes the rebuild of the twin supercharged 572ci Chevrolet big-block V8 engines, as well as as going through all steering components, throttles, and instrumentation. Altogether, Warpath is currently in truly remarkable condition thanks to the restoration and is ready to be cherished by a new owner. This is a truly rare opportunity for someone to own a piece of boating history. Coming along with the boat is a triple-axle All American trailer. Warpath will be sold via a week-long online auction beginning on September 10, 2021. For more information, be sure to click the button below. Learn More Now

The Best Superyacht Sundecks For Entertaining Guests

Presented by Denison Yacht Sales - What’s the best part of a yacht? The sundeck. This may be our (popular) opinion but let’s be real — sipping cocktails in a Jacuzzi on top of a yacht with 360-degree ocean views is the good life.  Enjoy These Spacious Sundecks Onboard Yachts For Sale Or Charter. Not that we need to convince you, but the sundeck offers the best ocean views, luxury amenities, and comfortable space for entertaining guests. For some owners, the flybridge sundeck is the perfect spot to host private parties, for others, it’s a convenient place to add a treadmill or store jet skis.  Whether it’s fitted with a wet bar, barbeque grill, dining table, hot tub, pool, sun pads, sauna, or dog park (got ya on that one) — we found 5 superyachts with the best sundecks. Welcome to the good life. MIZU | 174 Oceanfast 2004 Have you ever played basketball while underway on a 174-foot yacht? It’s exhilarating. MIZU is a transoceanic superyacht with extensive exterior areas. She technically has two sundecks. The lower deck boasts an open-air basketball hoop and cushioned seating flanked by two massive davits. The fourth level sundeck hosts a 16-person hot tub, bar, air conditioned day head, outdoor shower, viewing platform, and plenty of sun loungers. Don’t dream about it, be about it — MIZU is for sale and located in Miami, Florida. EXCELLENCE | 150’ Richmond 2010 EXCELLENCE has an excellent (we had to) sundeck with enough seating areas to comfortably host 12+ guests. The top deck is broken down into 4 different sections. Forward is a centerline Jacuzzi surrounded by sun pads. Aft of the hot tub is al fresco dining, an ideal spot for breakfast or lunch. Centerline is a full-service bar with a flat-screen TV and a day head. And all the way aft is a multi-purpose space that you could fill with sun loungers, toys, gym equipment, or touch-and-go helicopter operations. CHESELLA | 124’ Amels 1983 With four massive decks, CHESELLA goes all out with her sundeck. We’re talkin’ Jacuzzi, sun pads, and outdoor bar. The enormous cushioned lounge area aft is the most attractive spot with enough pillows to make a two-story fort. The bar area amidship features four stools and is the perfect area to gather around for a party. But when it’s time to flick the switch into sunset relaxation mode, you’ll find us in the hot tub forward. CHESELLA has one of the best sundeck setups. SWEET EMOCEAN | 116’ Azimut 2009 Yacht charters know how to upgrade a sundeck for guests. SWEET EMOCEAN is a luxury yacht charter with a sundeck made for relaxation. A Jacuzzi, sun pads, dining table, and bar boast a shaded option with a retractable roof for those sunny Caribbean days. A talented chef will set you up with a menu that includes conch fritters with a chili mayonnaise dip and skirt steak with chimichurri sauce for lunch on the water. Relax and unwind on the sundeck at any time of day — but we’re thinking sunset cocktails in a hot tub sounds pretty darn good. 105′ Numarine 2022 he Numarine Explorer series has proven to be extremely popular in the U.S. Denison yacht broker Alex Clarke sold a 32XP and a 37XP as Numarine produces some of the best value and most capable yachts on the market. It’s the perfect area to host a party, soak up the sun, or enjoy al fresco dining. While some sundecks are better than others, if it’s an important feature, let your yacht broker know. KAIROS Superyacht Concept Revealed by Oceanco, Pininfarin...

The new KAIROS superyacht concept seeks to "recalibrate" modern yacht design. Pininfarina's first time collaborating with Oceanco has resulted in an extraordinary superyacht concept that looks to shake up how we see modern yachts. Also joining in on the collaboration was Lateral Naval Architects who oversaw the technical design and engineering development. The goal of this design was to create a superyacht that can provide a "life onboard that is without boundaries," according to the Oceanco. One of the most exciting aspects regarding KAIROS is that it's developed around an E-Hybrid propulsion system. This eco-friendly propulsion system is in line with Oceanco's NXT initiative on sustainability and innovation. Oceanco hopes KAIROS can give insight into a future of sustainable yachting. More information regarding KAIROS will be released in the coming months so be sure to check back. In the meantime, you ought to see Antonini Navi's militaristic OPV 56 superyacht design.
