McLaren 570S Art Car by Spencer Couture for Sale

O'Gara La Jolla is known for putting on amazing local events in order to connect with their community and their latest one is a perfect example of just how good they are at it. Don't believe me? Check out the story of this McLaren 570S Art Car by Spencer Couture that's for sale now. The dealership recently teamed up with local San Diego artist Spencer Couture to create a very unique work of art. It all started with a simple idea of creating a piece of work for the dealership. They stepped back on this idea because it seemed too simple and went big. After going back to the drawing board, they came up with an incredible idea: putting on a pop-up art show for Spencer Couture at the Omnia Night Club. What's more, it would feature a very special piece of work. Knowing that the McLaren brand is fairly new to the San Diego area, they chose a very special canvas for Spencer to use when creating a piece of art for the art show: a McLaren 570S from McLaren San Diego. By doing this, the McLaren automobile would truly be making a colorful splash in the area and catching the eyes of just about everyone. To create the visual, O'Gara La Jolla's partners at Modern Image were put to the task. They took an art piece of Spencer's and turned it into a seamless wrap for the car. If you look closely, you'll see that the artwork continues from panel to panel, transforming the car into a rolling piece of art. As for the event, it was a complete success. Over 300 guests were in attendance and each of them was surely picking up their jaws when they saw the incredible McLaren 570S Art Car by Spencer Couture. What's more, this car is currently for sale on duPontREGISTRY.com. Check out the incredible pictures of the car and it's price by clicking the button below. view listing and price Source

McLaren 720S "Art Car" Covered in Comic Book Wrap

On its own, the McLaren 720S is an understandably beautiful car. In fact, it may be one of the best looking cars on the market at this very moment. But there are always ways to take the appearance of the 720S to the next level. For McLaren Stockholm, they created a McLaren 720S "Art Car" thanks to a creative wrap. The 720S, captured on film by GTBOARD.com, has been turned into a rolling comic book page. Across its exterior is a vivid wrap that looks like it was pulled from the pages of a classic comic book. One bit of the design that I do enjoy is that the wrap's design is quite symmetrical, even though it looks like it's all over the place. Up front, you can see an orange strip running down the center that's flanked by blue areas with black dots. Even the sides are just about mirrored in design. It's definitely worth a deep look into. McLaren 570GT MSO Cabbeen Collection Debuts in North America

In 2018 at the Beijing Auto Show, the new McLaren 570GT MSO Cabbeen Collection was unveiled. McLaren created this special edition model as a celebration for the Lunar New Year. Now, under a year later, this very special model has made its North American debut at McLaren Beverly Hills. Originally, there were supposed to be five created but this sixth edition was created and will be available only through McLaren Beverly Hills. The 570GT MSO Cabbeen Collection was designed in cooperation with Chinese fashion designer and entrepreneur Mr. Cabbeen. On the outside is an exterior finished in MSO Bespoke Obsidian Black with a hand-painted dragon design in Gloss Speedline Gold. Holding the car above the ground are a set of new 15-spoke GT wheels finished in the same gold paint as the dragons. Inside is a cabin that's highlighted by dragon embroidery. This McLaren 570GT has a special VIN that ends in 888888, meant to commemorate the Lunar New Year: Year of the Pig. Interested in owning it? Highly-Optioned McLaren Senna Sold by Miller Motorcars

The notion of a missed opportunity can be a cause for sadness...or you could be proactive by never letting it happen again. That's why, if given the chance to order a McLaren Senna you should go all-in. Our friends at Miller Motorcars had a few individuals waiting for this allotment, and the lucky new owner didn't skimp on the details. Starting with the standard equipment, every Senna arrives with 789 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. The bold styling is meant as homage to Ayrton Senna, McLaren's master driver. You also have 1,763 lbs of downforce keeping the Pirelli tires glued to the track. Here is where this build gets juicy. Volcano Red looks great in any light, and we approve of the glossy carbon fiber. Satin 9-spoke wheels are the lightest McLaren offers, and the dark theme culminates in the exhaust heat shields. Instead of stainless, the interior details are galvanic grey. Bright red stitching on the carbon fiber seats includes the Senna logo. The clear section in the lower door is also optional, and it was ordered in Gorilla glass. It is the same tough composite that makes up the tops of the doors. Speaking of, when you are done scaring your passenger you will notice the door struts are Volcano Red. And so are the wheel center locks, and even smaller details that might take weeks to find. That's why car #259 will not be like any of its 499 siblings. view miller motorcars' inventory

McLaren 720S New 1/4 Mile Record by Excell Racing

Warning: Drag Racing is addictive. Once you start chipping away at your car's best time, it is hard to keep it stock. Our friends at Excell Racing have been pushing their McLaren 720S into uncharted territory with upgrades strictly limited to tuning and exhaust. But now it's time for turbos, right? Those days are coming to an end. McLaren uses the latest in turbo technology, with the hot and cold sides perfectly matched to their 4.0L V8. This is how they achieved a 9.7 second run in stock form (on Toyo drag radials). This is where they started analyzing the car's tune. Every McLaren uses a torque-by-gear system. The computer limits torque in the lower gears, giving you more as speed increases. I want my torque all the time, it even keeps me awake at night. So the team at Excell Racing developed a new calibration after countless runs at Palm Beach International Raceway. Their efforts resulted in a blistering 9.218 @ 154.14 mph on stock turbos! A glance at the time slip shows an amazing launch. If you are looking for a pre-owned luxury or supercar, Excell Auto Group is located in Boca Raton, Florida. Their gearheads at Excell Racing will be happy to add some power for you also. Stay with us, because I sense an 8-second run coming soon! What Is Hennessey Performance Doing to This McLaren 600LT?

We try not to dive into conspiracies here, but there have been several sightings of a black blur. Truckers heading west on Interstate 10 have been overtaken at triple-digit speeds. Some say it isn't real, but they all agree on the exhaust flames. Back in November, our friend John Hennessey took delivery of the first McLaren 600LT. So, What is Hennessey Performance doing to this McLaren 600LT? Maybe he wants a new daily driver? Wrong! This beast makes 592 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. In the hands of his skilled engine builders, we could easily see 800. Not only was this the first 600LT in the US, it arrived with the latest version of the McLaren 3.8L V8. With all the advancements learned from the 12C until now, we bet it is capable of incredible boost. So tell us what you think this car will make, and stay with us for all your Hennessey Performance updates. View All Hennessey Performance Builds For Sale " width="680">

McLaren 600LT Spider Unveiled

The wait is over. Last week we hinted at something wild after a teaser was uploaded to social media. And now we can cheer for a new Longtail as McLaren has unveiled the 600LT Spider. As the 5th McLaren to wear the Longtail badge, it stays true to its predecessors. The third car in their Track25 plan, it is only 110 lbs heavier than the 600LT coupe. Without fluids, it tips the scales at 2,859 lbs, and the MonoCell II chassis required no reinforcements to maintain its impressive strength. In fact, it is 220.5 lbs lighter than the 570S Spider, despite the longer body and folding hard top mechanism. Mclaren 600 LT Price, Specs, Photos Just in front of that dynamic tail is the same twin-turbo 3.8L V8. Offering 592 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque, you will reach 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and 124 mph in 8.4. Only 0.2 seconds slower than the coupe, it will reach a top speed of 201 mph. Production will be limited due to the hand-built construction, and the MSRP starts at $256,500. I personally like the idea of seeing the flamethrower exhaust with the top down. It will offer the same interior and exterior options as the 600LT Coupe, so click the link above to envision your own, then click below to find a McLaren showroom near you. McLaren 720S Scorches the Nürburgring Nordschleife

One of the most popular urban myths is that German magazines give preferential treatment to their own brands (Porsche, Mercedes, BMW) when attacking the Nürburgring. While that might have been true in the old days, our friends at Sport Auto chose a McLaren for their latest lap. In a video uploaded to YouTube last night, driver Christian Gebhardt made use of the newly resurfaced track. The McLaren 720S scorched the Nordschleife (north loop) which was extensively updated in December. Instrumentation included two cameras, a G-meter, and GPS speedometer from Race Navigator. This 7.08 lap is only .03 seconds slower than the lap he did back in September. But that car was a Porsche 911 GT3 RS ordered without any options. Porsche 911 GT3 RS Specs, Price & Review Having driven examples of each, the 720S offers a very comfortable and quiet ride. A Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a brutal beast that makes no apologies. Given the extremely different nature of each car, tell us which one you would choose in the comments below. Andretti Autosports to Enter Pirelli GT4 America Series i...

Being part of a famous racing family has some nice benefits. For instance, Jarrett Andretti is the son of John Andretti and his great-uncle is none other than Mario Andretti. Clearly, he has some big shoes to fill. Jarrett has started to fill those shoes by winning numerous USAC Midget races and championships. Now it's time to step into something a little more powerful. Announced yesterday in a press release by his sponsor, Endurance Warranty Services has joined forces with Andretti Motorsports to enter the Pirelli GT4 America Series in a McLaren 570S GT4. Car # 18 was prepped and sold by our friends at McLaren Philadelphia, as they are the only authorized McLaren GT dealer this side of the Mississippi. McLaren 570S GT4 & 570S Sprint Added to Lineup The 570S GT4 does not merely resemble the production 570S. It uses a stock Monocell II chassis with wider fenders over massive mag wheels. It has an additional radiator to handle hot tracks, and the 7-speed transmission is sequential instead of dual-clutch. Front wheels are 18 x 9 and rears are 18 x 11, with center-lock hubs. The aluminum subframes are the same used on production cars, and the engine is also un-altered. The turbos are able to spin up much faster thanks to open exhaust. The power-to-weight ratio is probably similar to the Midgets he is used to, but Jarrett will have to get used to Air Conditioning and incredible brakes. If you are interested, click the link below to find your McLaren and stay with us for all your motorsports news. Surgery is scheduled near the end of January.

McLaren 2018 Sales: More Cars Sold Than Ever Before

McLaren has been getting hotter and hotter with each year, and 2018 was their hottest year yet. The McLaren 2018 sales numbers have been announced, and they report that they've sold 4,806 cars in 2018. For comparison's sake, that's a 43.9% increase over 2017's sales (3,340 cars). This news of a record-breaking year was expected, as McLaren Automotive has been increasing sales numbers every year since it formed in 2010. North America has been McLaren's biggest single market, representing over a third of their global sales. "Record sales highlight what a momentous year 2018 was for McLaren Automotive when over 4,800 cars left our Production Centre," said Mike Flewitt, Chief Executive Officer, McLaren Automotive. "That compares to 1,650 in 2015 showing the remarkable expansion in just three years as we work to consolidate growth to 6,000 cars a year by the end of our Track25 business plan." The new McLaren 600LT, which was unveiled this year. The McLaren Production Center (MPC) in Woking, Surrey has been hard at work hand-assembling all of the cars. McLaren notes that the MPC puts out, consistently, 20 cars a day. McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has been busier as well. With the influx of new McLaren buyers come more owners wanting to personalize their cars. This has led MSO to triple the number of bookings in one year. McLaren also unveiled the Speedtail in 2018, which will be their fastest car, ever. If you're looking to get in on the hotness that is McLaren, duPontREGISTRY.com has all the models you're looking for.
