McLaren 765LT Price, Specs, Photos, & Review

McLaren is one of the most popular automotive companies and offers top-of-the-line supercars. McLaren 765LT is undoubtedly the pinnacle of the company’s supercar lineup that brings astonishing performance and extremely luxurious features. McLaren 765LT Price By all means, McLaren 765LT is a powerful and amazingly capable supercar when it comes to performance. It is an aerodynamically enhanced, power boosted, weight reduced, and hard-edged limited edition. The LT in the name stands for longtail, and it also offers a bigger nose along with big carbon fiber rear and front wings. The McLaren 765LT price is lower than most supercars out there. You can find the McLaren 765LT for sale for about 358,000 US dollars, and the used ones will cost you even less. This MSRP is still far from affordability for most people, but it's still an outrageous bargain as compared to other supercars that McLaren offers. The best thing about the McLaren 765LT is that the company manufactured only a limited number of units that came out in 2015. It means that this supercar will always be a highly sought-after collector’s item. In terms of performance, it's very close to the McLaren P1, which is one of the most expensive cars by the company. Moreover, the McLaren 765LT isn’t only about the paint job and plaque. In fact, the level of detail and the luxury features that McLaren has provided in this car are genuinely extraordinary. When you look at the McLaren 765LT from a performance perspective, its MSRP seems like something of a bargain. McLaren 765LT Review McLaren 765LT is a limited-edition car, and it comes with the company's long tail spirit. Because of the limited number of units available, the demand for McLaren 765LT was so high that McLaren could have sold many times the total supply. That's because the company manufactured the McLaren 765LT using the same approach that it does to create supercars with exceptional performance. Many McLaren 765 Longtail reviews suggest that it’s related to the McLaren 720S. It might be true, but all the areas are tweaked to speed up the overall engagement and remove weight. McLaren 765LT vs 720S At Hennessey Performance The weight of the McLaren 765LT has been reduced significantly, and it flaunts 755 hp. The result of these significant changes is a sensationally quick, captivating, and incredible supercar. McLaren paid close attention in every department, be it suspension, aerodynamics, transmission, or engine, in McLaren 765LT make-up. It adds real engagement and attitude to the supercar series by McLaren, and because of its limited quantity, McLaren 765LT will remain a coveted car. The new McLaren 765LT is already sold out, but luckily, we had enough time to test this car to come up with this McLaren 765LT Review. McLaren 765LT Specs When it comes to engine and power, McLaren 765LT yet again stands in the front row of supercars. It comes with a twin-turbocharged V8 engine which is also equipped with an intercooled DOHC 32-valve. The McLaren 765LT horsepower is 755 at 7500 RPM, and it offers 590 pound-feet of torque at 5500 RPM. The McLaren 765LT specs beg you to drive hard and provide it with the attention it deserves. You’ll need to drive this beast as you mean it, and you'll have a rewarding experience. The McLaren 765LT top speed is 205 miles per hour, and its body offers outstanding control regardless of the speed. Moreover, McLaren 765LT 0-60 is only 2.4 seconds which means it already gets there even before you frame your thoughts. This supercar also allows you to feel the true sensation even if you’re going at a model speed. The 765LT weight is one of the biggest reasons for such performance. The car weighs only 2,952 pounds, and the time it takes to cover a ¼ mile is only 9.9 seconds. The 765 top speed is only 7 miles per hour less than its cousin 620S, but it hits the 100-mph mark 0.3 seconds faster. McLaren 765LT Engine & Transmission As mentioned, the McLaren 765LT engine flaunts 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 power. Moreover, it comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that allows the car to deliver the faster and more decisive upshifts possible. For the turbochargers, there are machined compressor wheels as well as lighter connecting rods and camshafts. The company has also adjusted the damper and spring rates in order to match the McLaren 765LT’s greater performance. With the help of lighter wheels, the car still drives with real composure. The McLaren 765LT also demonstrates the very same communicative feedback and tracking abilities that the 720S model does. McLaren knows how to tune its cars to engage the driver after getting behind the wheel. McLaren has also provided the updated software in 765LT for the hydraulic Proactive Chassis Control II system that improves the performance significantly. It’s important to note that you won’t see any certified EPA fuel economy rating for any McLaren car. But as we know, the McLaren 765LT is very similar to the 720S, so the fuel economy will be somewhat the same. It’s expected to be 22 mpg on the highway, 15 mpg in the city, and 18 mpg combines. McLaren 765LT Interior All modifications and changes that the McLaren 765LT interior offers are mainly focused on reducing the weight and improving engagement. McLaren 765LT comes with lightweight and body-hugging seats that not only look marvelous but also offer comfort. You can opt for any mix of materials such as carbon fiber, Alcantara, or leather to cover the interior. The personalization options that McLaren 765LT brings are endless. In the nose of the McLaren 765LT, there is also some room for your luggage that can easily manage a soft overnight bag. However, the appeal of the car lies somewhere else entirely, and practicality isn't a big concern. McLaren 765LT Brakes McLaren 765LT Brakes are specified with carbon fiber discs. As compared to the traditional braking system, it offers greater longevity and stopping power. It comes with 15.4-inch carbon-ceramic rotors, and it's also possible to find McLaren 765LT with Brembo calipers. The “Longtail Airbrake” system also helps McLaren 765LT to further reduce the stopping distances. It flaunts a unique control setup and deploys while heavy brakes are applied and perfectly matches the capabilities of the supercar. Just like riding a motorbike, you can easily see the road in front of you while sitting in the McLaren 765LT driver seat. McLaren 765LT Standout Features McLaren 765LT is equipped with unique features based on the latest technology. One of the most important features is the McLaren Track Telemetry system. It comes with three different cameras and provides real-time lap data to track day enthusiasts. Other than that, McLaren 765LT also features Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires which are considered to be track-focused. When it comes to safety features, the McLaren 765LT offers sophisticated stability and traction control system, tire pressure monitoring, and airbags. The key to this car’s safety is undoubtedly its overall build and construction that revolves around carbon fiber which is both strong and incredibly tight. While McLaren has done a lot to reduce the weight of this supercar. But one thing that the company managed to provide is the front-end lift system which was unavailable in the McLaren 675LT, and many car enthusiasts and experts criticized it. Moreover, McLaren 765LT also offers rear and front parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and a front-end lift system. It’s important to note that McLaren has announced that only 765 765LT will be built. Sell My McLaren 765LT: Get a Cash Offer McLaren 765LT For Sale " width="680">

Don't Want to Wait for the McLaren 765LT Spider? Here Is ...

Last week, McLaren announced the most powerful convertible supercar the world has ever seen with the 765LT Spider. Developing 765 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque from its twin-turbo V8 engine, the Spider, can hit 60 mph in 2.8 seconds. However, if you want one of these crazy machines, you'll have to wait a while since the model has yet to begin production officially.  If you want crazy levels of performance today, you should look at the McLaren 765LT Coupe. Developing the same 765 hp output as the Spider, the coupe can hit 60 mph in 2.7 seconds, making it the quicker of the pair. This is possible because the coupe is 108 lb lighter than its drop-top sibling. As a result, if you want to go as fast as physically possible, you'll need the coupe.  McLaren Automotive McLaren Automotive Aside from not having to wait, the coupe gives you the added structural rigidity that comes with having a fixed roof, along with greater protection in case of a rollover accident. From an aesthetics perspective, there's a case to be made that the coupe is the sleeker of the two options.  In total, McLaren produced 765 Coupe models, most of which sold out instantly. However, several of these cars are now available on duPont REGISTRY. A quick search reveals at least nine examples currently available for sale, ranging from $519,990 to $579,950. There's even one with just 30 miles on the clock. Check them out below. McLaren Unveils MSO Speedtail Inspired by 1st Prototype, ...

Named after Albert Drive, which is where the McLaren F1 was designed and built in Woking, England. McLaren Beverly Hills commissioned a very special example of the McLaren Speedtail and we are finally seeing it as a completed hypercar. Named 'Albert', this one-of-a-kind Speedtail was given a completely bespoke treatment courtesy of McLaren Special Operations (MSO). The unique design found Albert was all done with purpose as it was inspired by the first attribute testing prototype Speedtail, which was also named 'Albert'. McLaren also named their 1992 F1 test mules Albert, a name that comes from their Albert Drive location in Woking, England where the original three-seater supercars were built. As you can see from the exterior, 'Albert' features very precise lines that mimic the airflow over the body which is similar to the 2018 vinyl camo wrap found on the original 'Albert' prototype. In order to create this visual, MSO had their work cut out for them. McLaren notes that 'Albert' spent 12 weeks at MSO post-build so that the intricate designs could be created and implemented. That includes two weeks worth of masking, six weeks of painting, and even more weeks for drying and reassembling. In total, just about two kilometers of fine tape was used to complete the design layout. Another interesting tidbit regarding the exterior of the 'Albert' Speedtail is the actual colors used for the exterior, Magnesium Silver and Ueno Grey. The Magnesium Silver paint was seen on the original McLaren F1 road car that was debuted at the 1992 Monaco Grand Prix, while Ueno Grey was the color of the F1 GTR that won the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans. McLaren Beverly Hills will be debuting the 'Albert' Speedtail at the Sunset GT event posted by O'Gara Beverly Hills on August 8th, 2021. Source: McLaren Automotive

McLaren 765LT Spider Revealed: A 755 HP Convertible Supercar

Introducing the McLaren 765LT Spider, limited to just 765 examples. A successor to the McLaren 720S Spider is here and it's better in just about every way. Debuted by the British automaker is the new 765LT Spider, a new range-topping convertible that boasts very impressive specs. Being a successor to the 720S Spider, the 765LT Spider will naturally be compared in many ways. Thankfully, it delivers better numbers in a variety of ways. For its power, a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine delivers 755 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. With a 0 to 60 mph time of just 2.7 seconds (15% quicker than the 720S), it's the fastest accelerating LT Spider that McLaren has ever created. When discussing convertibles, the weight will always come up because these variants are typically heavier than their coupe companions. Thankfully, McLaren put in a proper amount of work in the weight department. With a weight of 3,060 lbs, the 765LT Spider is just 108 lbs heavier than the 765LT Coupe and 176 lbs lighter than the 720S Spider. It should be noted that air conditioning and an audio system are not included as standard for the sake of saving weight, but they can be included at no additional cost. Best Luxury Convertibles for 2023: Must Read Being a variant of the 765LT Coupe, this new Spider also features the same aerodynamic package. From the front splitter to the rear diffuser, it's all there and it created 25% more downforce than the 720S Spider. However, there is one big difference between the two and it can be found in the rear wing. McLaren has calibrated the active rear wing so it takes into account whether or not the roof is up. That means the driver will have optimum aerodynamics no matter the roof's position. The McLaren 765LT Spider will come into the world with a starting MSRP of $382,500, putting it well above the original starting price of the 720S Spider ($315,000). McLaren will be offering an available MSO Clubsport Pack, MSO LT Black Pack, and individual MSO options. Just 765 examples will be created and the entire allocation for 2021 production has been sold out. See All McLarens For Sale Source: McLaren Automotive

Watch the $2.2 Million McLaren Elva's Scary Drive at Good...

The hill climb turned into a slip and slide. It's sad, but the Goodwood Festival of Speed is over but that doesn't mean we can't look back at the happenings. One of the most exciting moments had to be when a McLaren Elva, worth around $2.2 million, flew through the hill climb course even though it was soaking wet. Kenny Bräck was the driver of the hypercar and the wet tarmac didn't stop him from hammering the Elva through every corner and straight. If you watch the video up above, you can see the Elva get incredibly squirrely throughout the entire hill climb but it manages to make it to the finish line without incident. the best part? The smiles on the passenger and driver when they finally cross the finish line and realize how insane that drive was. See All McLarens For Sale Source: YouTube/Goodwood Road & Racing

Kid-Genius Mike Wimmer Celebrates Graduation With Epic Su...

A surprise photoshoot for a grand celebration. On May 28th, 12-year-old Mike Wimmer graduated from Concord Academy High School as Valedictorian with a 5.45 GPA. Just a week earlier on May 21st, he graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Rowan-Cabarrus Community Collection. Mike managed to complete both his Junior and Senior years of high school alongside and a two-year college associate degree all in the span of 12 months. To celebrate his graduation, McLaren Charlotte surprised him with an epic photoshoot alongside two Mclaren 720S supercars. Mike has had a passion for cars from a very early age with the movie "Cars" being the main source of it. At the age of 4, he could identify any exotic car put in front of him. And his favorite vacation is to go to IMSA Sportscar endurance races and hang out in the paddock and garage with the teams. As you can see, he's a die-hard automotive enthusiast who most definitely deserved this photoshoot. While he may not be able to drive the McLarens, he plans on taking his driver's license test in a supercar. With plenty of practice from SIM racing, he will most certainly ace the test. He plans on purchasing his first car with cash and is looking at either a Corvette ZR1, McLaren 720S or 765LT. We definitely think he'll do just that. To help pay for those purchases, Mike is already underway creating new businesses. One of them is Reflect Social, which seeks to combine "popular social media platforms with Internet of Things (IoT) devices, providing a new dynamic social experience." Be sure to follow Mike on Instagram and Twitter to stay up-to-date on his incredible journey. Photo Credit: Mitch Harwood

The McLaren Elva is Now Available With a Windshield

For those who prefer something a bit more physical. McLaren Automotive has just announced that the Elva will now be available with a physical windscreen, as opposed to a barrier of air thanks to the Active Air Management System (AAMS). The windshield is also being introduced because some states in the USA require windshields. McLaren notes that this version is starting production very soon. One of the drawbacks to this version is that the will be a little bit of added weight, but it's just 44 lbs. McLaren hasn't finalized acceleration figures for this new variant, but the original windshield-less version can run 0 to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds and 0 to 124 mph in 6.8 seconds. Just 149 examples of the Elva will be created and the first deliveries of the windshield Elva are expected to happen at the end of the year. See All McLarens For Sale Source: McLaren
