Two McLaren 570S Prototypes at Dimmitt Automotive

It's the first model in McLaren's highly anticipated Sport Series, and while it hasn't been released for sale just yet, Dimmitt Automotive Group in St. Petersburg, Florida is anticipating a waiting list at least a year long. There are currently two prototypes of this powerful daily driver on display at Dimmitt Automotive Group, one in Blade Silver and the other in Ventura Orange. The Blade Silver example was first introduced to the dealership April 18, during their monthly Cars & Coffee After Party, and the Orange arrived just this past weekend. The two are both stunning, and it's difficult to compare one with the other.Of course, these are just the prototypes. Both were on display at the New York Auto Show, which served as the official unveiling of this model, meaning these both are another example of automotive history in Tampa Bay.Though based on the 650S, there are certainly some significant changes that make this model more attuned to daily use. The carbon fiber tub is 3 inches lower while the doors rise 30 percent higher, creating more space at the entry point. The engine, while still capable of 0-60 mph accelerations in 3.2 seconds, has been redesigned to be more resilient to regular use.But of course, there's still the track package option - three built in cameras come with that selection, with one in the front, one in the rear and one in the middle of driver and passenger, all to record your performance and reactions.(See Also: McLaren P1 & P1 GTR on SPA-Francorchamps)Starting prices have been set at $184,900, but Dimmitt Automotive anticipates selling out for at least a year. McLaren 675LT In Detail at McLaren Newport Beach

The new McLaren 675LT is the lightest and most powerful model in the automaker's Super Series. Its name resurrects the 'Longtail' moniker, which was first used for the 1997 McLaren F1 GTR 'Longtail.' Our friends at McLaren Newport Beach recently had the chance to photograph a 675LT finished in Chicane Grey. In the photos, we get an in-depth view of the car from the inside out. You get a chance to see the 3.8-liter V8 engine that generates 666 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. This engine is similar to the one found in the 650S, but more than 50 percent of the vehicle is comprised of new parts, including new turbos, modified cylinder heads and exhaust manifolds, new camshaft and connecting rods and a “faster-flowing” fuel pump and delivery system. (Also Read: Every Angle of the P1 GTR at McLaren Newport Beach Private Party) Check out the images below to see the 675LT like you've never seen it before. Gulf Livery McLaren 12C Spider For Sale

Powder Blue and Marigold are calm and unassuming colors. Individually they wouldn’t be the best choice when painting a car, but combine them and you will have a recipe for winning races. Back in 1967, the VP of Gulf Oil decided to enter his GT40 at Sebring and Daytona. As a way to promote the company, his team devised a stunning two-tone paint scheme that is among the most revered in racing history. We dug through our archives and through the inventories of our dealers to bring you a Gallery of Gulf back in 2013. Since then we have seen a few more examples, but one of them is burned into our collective consciousness: the MP4-12C Spider for sale. Our friends a McLaren Newport Beach needed a centerpiece for their showroom, and this stunning 2013 model plays center stage. McLaren Special Operations worked their magic on the interior, adding carbon fiber seat backs and shift paddles. The interior is awash in orange and carbon black leather and shows no signs of wear. The infotainment system has been upgraded with Parrot hardware for improved navigation and audio capabilities. With only 4,465 miles on the odometer, this car is basically brand new. Although it looks like a piece of history, we would be too tempted to swap the street tires for race rubber and hit the track. Stay tuned to Autofluence for more Gulf liveries and wild McLarens.View Price/ListingGallery Source:

$7 Million McLaren P1 Photoshoot at McLaren Newport Beach

In California at the prestigious McLaren Newport Beach dealership, six McLaren P1s came together for one epic photoshoot. The examples included in these photos have all been touched by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), meaning that each is worth well over the P1's $1.15 million MSRP. But, even if each of these cars were priced at the MSRP, that would make this a $6.9 million photoshoot. Add in a few extras from MSO and these pictures are easily worth more than $7 million. As you may notice, the P1s in the photos have unique finishes, turning this shoot into a showcase of MSO's abilities in the paint booth. In the top row, from left to right, the finishes are Supernova Silver, Fire Black and Volcano Orange. The bottom row's finishes are, from left to right, Volcano Yellow, Cerberus Pearl and Flintgrau Metallic. Yes, that is C.J. Wilson's P1 in the middle.Check out the images to see how McLaren Newport Beach does photoshoots, and the variety of options from MSO, and be sure to let us know in the comments which one you'd love to take home. What's more, two of these P1s are currently for sale at McLaren Newport Beach- the Volcano Yellow and Flintgrau Metallic examples.
