McLaren 765LT Spider Expected to Follow Coupe's Strong Va...

Presented by McLaren Automotive - When the 2020 McLaren 765LT first arrived, it quickly dominated road tests while simultaneously blurring the lines between a supercar and a hypercar. This tremendous performance came thanks to the 765LT's ultra-powerful 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, which develops 755 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, the 765LT utilized carbon fiber extensively to reduce weight and improve overall aerodynamic efficiency. The result was a 0-60 mph time of under three seconds and a sub-10-second quarter-mile time.  To put a 765LT Coupe in your driveway, you had to pay at least $363,500 to start without considering the model's seemingly endless options. As its name suggests, the 765LT was part of a limited run of just 765 cars worldwide. One quick look at the listings available on duPont REGISTRY reveals that all of the used examples currently have listed prices of well above $500,000, showcasing excellent value retention.  Following up the monster machine that is the 765LT Coupe, the British carmaker introduced the 2022 McLaren 765 LT Spider. Since it shares its powertrain and power output with the Coupe, the Spider variant is the most powerful convertible ever produced by the brand. Additionally, the original chassis itself is so stiff that the Spider variant required no further strengthening. The only weight penalty comes as a result of the folding metal roof. Following in the footsteps of its mechanical sibling, there will only ever be 765 Spider variants.  With a base price of around $382,500, the Spider commands a premium over the Coupe of just under $20,000. However, given the limited production numbers and the results we've seen with the Coupe, all signs indicate that the Spider should retain its value just as well. As it stands, VIP customers across the US have begun optioning their Spiders, with deliveries scheduled for the near future.  All allocations of 765LT Spider are now spoken for, but to learn more about the McLaren 765LT Spider and maybe even configure your dream car, check out the link below. This special edition 720S features carbon fiber sills that feature Ricciardo's signature, his race number '3' etched on the doors, an Australian flag above the front tires, and a dedication plate. How To Design Your McLaren Artura

The McLaren Artura configurator is a powerful thing. Not only are there so many options to go through, but it's also a stunning piece of technology. Instead of having static images to look at, you can zoom in and out, rotate the car and even change camera angles. If you've played a video game and customized a car in it, this experience is a lot like that. Below is a breakdown of how the configurator operates but if you're like to check it out for yourself, be sure to click the button below. Configure Your McLaren Artura Specification The start of the configurator will have you picking out your specification. The choices are Standard, Performance, TechLux and Vision. Each one changes various aspects of the car, like the cabin surfaces, leather interior and even the gearshift paddles. Paint The most important and hardest part of configuring a vehicle is what color you'll paint it in. Thankfully, McLaren offers a wide variety of paints thanks to McLaren Special Operations. Wheels & Brakes For the Wheels & Brakes section, there are multiple tabs available. These tabs include Wheels, Brakes & Calipers and Tires. There are multiple wheel types available, as well as calipers colors and two types of Pirelli P Zero tires. Exterior Having already picked out the paint color, now it's time to finish the exterior. This section offers a wide range of options that will give each Artura's exterior a personalized appearance. Interior Since owners of the McLaren Artura will be spending most of their time with their car in the interior, picking the right cabin spec is important. Thankfully, there are plenty of interior options available through the configurator. Entertainment The Entertainment section offers just two options, but they're quite important. First up is the McLaren Track Telemetry feature that allows customers to add the Laptime Function by itself, or along with cameras. Then there is the Audio option that will already be checked off depending on the Specification. This options is for the Bowers & Wilkins Audio System. Options With plenty of options available in the Options Packages and Options sections, there is a lot of time to be spent here. Finished! The final section is a summary of what you've selected. From here, each customer can either save their spec as a PDF, find their local retailer for more information or inquire online for more information. Discover the McLaren Artura

In the video, found above, you'll hear from F1 CEO, Zak Brown, McLaren Indy 500 winner, Jonny Rutherford, and former McLaren F1 driver, JP Montoya. ‘’Everything about McLaren is authenticity, Elva represents that in the purest and most perfect sense from both the driving dynamics and design to the technology that’s in it.’’ - Ansar Ali, Managing Director, McLaren Special Operations

A time capsule supercar. During Gooding & Company's Pebble Beach auction, there was a very special McLaren F1 that crossed the block.
