The World Rally Championship returns to the United States for the first time since 1988, and Rally US has shared more details on what fans can expect when the action arrives in August 2027. Scheduled for August 26-29, the four-day gravel rally will cover parts of Tennessee and Kentucky, introducing international rally racing to a region known for its winding mountain roads and loose terrain. Knoxville has been confirmed as the event's host city, with a ceremonial start on Lower Broadway in Nashville.

Rally US is expected to run stages across more than 15 counties, with routes running from the Appalachian Mountains to the Cumberland Plateau. Sections will feature fast gravel roads, tight forest corners, and elevation changes that will test both drivers and co-drivers.

The WRC Arena will be set up at World's Fair Park and the Knoxville Convention Center. The venue will host team facilities, spectator activities, and a fan festival to experience between stages. The ceremonial start in Nashville will include live music, driver appearances, and other planned events for fans.

Rally US is one of the major additions to the 15-round 2027 WRC calendar, marking an important step to reach a larger American audience. The return also gives U.S. fans the chance to see the world's leading rally drivers and manufacturers compete on home soil for the first time in nearly 40 years. Fans can register for priority ticket access and premium hospitality, as well as volunteer opportunities, through the official Rally US wrcrallyus.com website. With Nashville providing the opening celebration and Knoxville anchoring the action, everything is shaping up to be a must-mark on the calendar.
