Pagani Huayra BC Takes Over New York City

When you have a subject like the Pagani Huayra BC, you're bound to have a gorgeous photoshoot. But when you have a camera as advanced as Phase One's XF 100MP, the photoshoot is going to be taken to the next level. Over the past few days, Pagani and Phase One have been sharing photos and videos of the Huayra BC taking over New York City. The reason being was Richard Thomspon, an automotive photographer, was capturing the hypercar for advertisement purposes. "The reason we used the XF 100MP for this shoot is because this is simply speaking the most advanced, highest resolution, sharpest camera system you can lay hands on. This is an advertising shoot and those are all merits that are very important." - Richard Thompson The car was shot underneath the train tracks, under the supervision of the police and Luca Venturi, Global PR and Communication manager at Pagani Automobili. According to Jake Mills, who helped set up the shoot, the police were necessary due to the area not being a very safe part of town. Check out the video above to see the photoshoot happen and how a photographer works behind the scenes of a shoot. The results of the video above can be found in the slider below. Rare Pagani Zonda Revolucion Racing and Pit Stops at Sebring

Back in 2013 Pagani unveiled the new Zonda Revolucion. This car would mark a supposed end to the production of the Zonda, even though some new Zondas have been created since then. This historic car is powered by a terrifying 6.0-liter V12, which is capable of 800hp and 538 lb-ft of torque. And thanks to the extensive use of lightweight carbon fiber, the car itself weighs in at 2,358 lbs. Other features include a Formula-1 inspired DRS system and Brembo CCRM brake discs, an upgraded ABS system, and a price tag of $2.88 million. Only five Pagani Zonda Revolucions were planned to be produced.(Also Check Out: Sound Off: Bugatti Chiron vs Pagani Huayra BC)Of those five, one was spotted by fansofthe12hours at Sebring Raceway taking some laps. This appearance at the Florida racetrack was indeed a rare one and it made for a brilliant soundtrack. The Scary Sounds of the Pagani C12S

Introduced back in the beginning of the 2000's, the Pagani Zonda C12S was a more powerful and brutal version of the original Zonda. A menacing 7.3-liter V12 engine from Mercedes-Benz AMG provided the car with around 600 hp, a massive jump over the original's 394 hp.Now, in 2016, we have supercars that house double the horsepower of the C12S, but that doesn't take away from the car's presence. In fact, I'd say the C12S has a more audible presence than most cars.BUY A PAGANI (Also Check Out - Chasing 19 Paganis Through The Mountains)Don't believe me? Check out these videos from Effspot and TheStradman of a yellow C12S during their recent trip to Europe. Saying this car is loud doesn't do it justice. I'm saying that this car screams like a freakin' banshee. Check out the videos below to see what I mean. I should also note that the first video does contain some NSFW language, but you can't blame someone for using expletives when hearing such an insane supercar.Supercars For Sale

Pagani Huayra BC Flies and Shoots Blue Flames

If you ever visit Italy, there are plenty of automotive factories you should visit, like the Pagani one. Because if you hang outside of it long enough, you might just see a car like the new Huayra BC taking off and shooting some flames. (Also Read: Jump Starting A Pagani Huayra?) Well, at least that's what happened to 19Bozzy92 when he stuck around on the roads outside of the Pagani factory. In a video uploaded today, we get a chance to hear and see the Huayra BC rocketing down two-lane roads and even showing a spat of fire out of its exhaust. What I will also note after watching this video is that the sound of the Huayra BC is so much more "throaty" than I expected, with a sound that consists of more bass than treble. It's a brutal sound, that's for sure.

Jump Starting a...Pagani Huayra?

Sometimes things happen and you have to jump start a Pagani Huayra. At least, this was the case at the CF Charities Super Show.At the show, a very special guest showed up: a Pagani Huayra. When it came time to start the car up, sgfreak96 says that nothing happened. He said it could have been because "a battery tender was not hooked up, and the battery was simply low on power." To solve the problem they found a BMW X6M and some jumper cables to give the hypercar a jump start.Have you ever have a bad experience with having to jump start your own car or someone else's? Let me know in the comments below!(Also Read: Going Grocery Shopping in a Pagani Huayra)

Insanely Fast Hot Lap In The Pagani Huayra BC

The latest from Pagani, the Huayra BC, is their most technologically advanced model yet. They say they it is the lightest, globally homologated hypercar and that it has been redesigned appearance-wise. Needless to say, this car is an absolute stunner from the inside out. Being called a hypercar, you'd expect it to track well, like the Porsche 918 Spyder or the McLaren P1. Well, if you were expecting it to do a fine job on the circuits, then I'm here to present you with a video that will meet those expectations. In a video from Automoto.it, we get to see Pagani's test driver, Andrea Palma, take the Huayra BC for high-speed hot laps around Autódromo do Estoril in Portugal. After watching the video found below, I can safely say that the circuit is a blank canvas, the Huayra BC is the finest paint you can buy and Palma is an artist, painting a picture of fantastic lines throughout the track. See for yourself below.

Pagani Zonda 760 PS Startup and Revs Sound Glorious

Back in 1999, Pagani debuted the Zonda, one of the finest and most ferocious Italian supercars to ever hit the road. Throughout the years, different engines have been powering the car, including the 6.0-, 7.0- and 7.3-liter AMG V12 engines. Along with a wide variety of engines, there have been numerous editions of the Zonda, like the 760LH, Revolucion and F Clubsport, just to name a few.TheTFJJ recently caught a one-of-one Zonda 760PS (PS is for the owner, Peter Saywell) starting up and revving its engine. The video of the event, found below, reminds us all just how incredible the sound of the Zonda really is. Check it out for yourself by clicking the play button below.View All Pagani News

Pagani Huayra BC: Most Technologically Advanced Yet

We've been waiting for quite some time, but we're finally being graced with the unveiling of the Pagani Huayra BC. The name of the car comes from Benny Caiola, a man who the revealing press release says inspired Horacio Pagani over the years. He was also the first customer to ever buy a Pagani Automobile. The Huayra BC is not just any normal Huayra. It comes in as the most technologically advanced one yet, welcoming a fine selection of new features that will be used in future Pagani vehicles. When putting the car together, there were specific areas of development and goals that Pagani wanted to focus on. These were: Create the lightest, globally homologated, Hypercar. Develop chassis and suspension systems that are derived from motorsport to deliver dynamic and secure car, fast and fun, that retains the comfort typical of a Pagani. Develop a completely new AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) paying particular attention to both the performance and comfort, without compromising the weight and balance of the car. On the outside, the Huayra BC is easily recognizable in a crowd from other Huayra. The press release notes that it "has been completely redesigned and except for the roof does not share a single body panel with the Huayra Coupé." Changes include exposed carbon fiber, new front end, side skirts, rear diffuser and massive rear wing. Of course, the inside of the Huayra BC is just as impressive as you'd expect from Pagani.Powering the car is a twin-turbo V12 engine that has been exclusively developed for Pagani by Mercedes-AMG. It creates over 750 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to a seven-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). Pagani states that the weight of the gearbox, including a brand new electronic active differential, is just about 40% lighter when compared to the dual-clutch of the current generation Huayra. While the power is most certainly there, so is a drive that handles well. A new bespoke suspension system was installed, which Pagani states to be the lightest and most effective suspension ever utilized in a "hi-performance vehicle." A savings of 25% in weight was accomplished through HiForg, a lightweight aeronautic aluminum alloy. Along with the suspension, the Brembo brakes, Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires and Bosch ESP system ("Comfort", "Sport" and "Track" driving modes") work together to create a ride that will deliver on both the track and road. The Huayra BC is a great look into what Pagani will introduce to the world in the near future, and it's made me quite excited. Stay with us for the latest from Pagani as it's released.

Pagani Zonda F V12 Engine Soundcheck

Microphone check "one, two" what is this? The Pagani Zonda F from an Italian business. With the company of a Ferrari Enzo, which sounds amazing as well, Marchettino caught this Zonda F bringing the ruckus in the undergrounds of Tokyo, Japan. You can view it below. After watching and listening to the video, we can say that this Italian supercar is ready for whatever show it's going to put on, because it sounds incredible. But, what did you expect?Even though the car was introduced back in 2005, doesn't mean its sound wouldn't hold up today's standards. In fact, older cars with monstrous engines, like the Zonda F's 7.3-liter AMG V12, create the sounds we've always loved. While it's true the turbocharged and supercharged cars of today sound lovely as well, we will always have that special place in our hearts for a naturally aspirated engine with tons of displacement and finely tuned exhaust.
