The Porsche lifestyle now includes a credit card.
Porsche is one of the most aspirational names in the automotive world, with a cherished lineup of iconic luxury performance cars, and a history that stretches back over 75 years. As the brand has grown, its appeal has stretched beyond only cars, with fashion, timepieces, and even residences attached to the Porsche name, as the name itself experienced a meteoric rise in car culture canon. Now, as Porsche evolves to include a growing range of electric vehicles to its lineup and the brand is more prevalent than ever, the manufacturer’s hallowed name is now attached to a new Porsche credit card.
Described by the brand as “the key to the Porsche world,” the new Porsche card offers various perks to customers as part of their everyday lives, as well as in vehicle charging, refueling, and at hotels and other Porsche destinations. Made from metal, the Porsche Card features engraved Porsche lettering, a standard black color, as well as colors that match some of the most iconic paint colors seen on Porsche’s cars: Carmine Red, Irishgreen, Gentian Blue Metallic, Ruby Star Neo, Bahamayellow, and 89Sohobrownmetallic (for an extra charge).
Finnish fintech company Enfuce is the card issuer, while the payment processing partner is Visa, with Swedish bank Nordiska acting as the lender. This means that Porsche is able to launch the card internationally, with Germany being the first market to see the Porsche Card launched, and other European markets receiving the card soon.
Cardholders will receive access to airport lounges, reduced-price parking at airports and city centers, free vehicle fluid refills (except fuel) at participating Porsche centers, access to Porsche Charging Card charging stations, and special conditions at certain Shell stations. Appropriately costing 356 euros per year, the new Porsche card is another addition to the aspirational lifestyle and rich legacy of Porsche.
