Porsche is one of those brands that extends well beyond any dealership or garage, with a global community of passionate collectors and enthusiasts built around it. One part of the brand that celebrates the lifestyle that comes with Porsche ownership is Porsche Design, which recently partnered with Newgard Development Group to introduce Porsche Design Concours. It’s a collector car haven where private car studios, workspaces, hospitality, and community all come together. The first two locations are planned for West Palm Beach, Florida, and Dallas, Texas, with both currently targeted to open in 2028.
The two inaugural locations will feature 44 privately owned automotive studios, split evenly between West Palm Beach and Dallas. Ranging from 2,700 to 6,000 square feet, each studio is designed to function as more than just high-end car storage. Owners can have a climate-controlled space with a mezzanine, full bathroom, and wet bar, perfect as a private office, gathering space, or somewhere to spend an afternoon with cars. Ownership will be offered by invitation, and importantly, you don't have to own a Porsche to be part of it.
The Concours itself features an interior automotive promenade that runs through each property. Instead of pulling into a conventional parking aisle, owners and guests move through a gallery-like space where the cars become part of the architecture. It’s Porsche Design's approach of clean lines, functional materials, and understated details, with Gensler handling the Dallas location and Urban Robot Associates working on West Palm Beach.
Then there is the Clubhouse. Membership will provide access to amenities planned around dining, wellness, socializing, and working, including private lounges, coworking areas, outdoor terraces, event spaces, padel, spa and wellness facilities, and concierge services. Twenty-four-hour security is also planned, which is an obvious but important part of protecting both the cars and the people using the spaces.
West Palm Beach and Dallas are just the beginning of Porsche Design Concours' larger plans. The company says future destinations will be selected around established collector communities and positioned close to the neighborhoods and everyday routines of their members. Porsche Design Concours is essentially trying to turn the modern collector garage into a place where the cars, the lifestyle surrounding them, and the people who share that passion can all exist under one roof.
