For Porsche fans, the brand has always been about more than just the cars. Whether it's taking a 911 out for a weekend drive, spending a Saturday at the track, or pulling up to a cars and coffee, being a Porsche enthusiast often becomes a lifestyle of its own. Porsche is tapping into that passion with the new Porsche Crest Collection. The lineup includes T-shirts, sweaters, hoodies, jackets, hats, and accessories like water bottles and bags, all featuring the beloved Porsche crest. The collection is available now through the official Porsche Shop, celebrating the brand away from the driver's seat.
The Porsche crest has been part of the story since 1952, when Ferry Porsche helped develop a badge that reflected the company's roots in Stuttgart, Germany. The design combines several local symbols, including the rearing horse from Stuttgart's city seal, the red and black stripes and antlers associated with Württemberg, and the Porsche name across the top. The badge first appeared on a Porsche steering wheel in late 1952 before making its way onto the hood of the 356 in 1954. While the crest has received a few updates over the years, its basic design has stayed consistent, whether it's sitting on the hood of a vintage 356, an air-cooled 911, or a new 911 GT3.
Porsche has built a worldwide community of owners and enthusiasts who spend their free time driving, collecting, restoring, and talking about the brand. From local meets to major events like Rennsport Reunion, the crest has become a common thread among people who share a love for Porsche, regardless of which model they own. The new Crest Collection brings that same familiar symbol into everyday clothing and accessories, making it easy for fans to show their enthusiasm outside the garage, too.
