The New Redesigned Porsche Taycan Enters Final Testing Phase

Porsche is ready to revamp its EV pioneer. As Porsche’s first all-electric model, the Porsche Taycan has sent shockwaves through the industry with its excellent performance, luxury, design, and innovation. However, while it might feel like the Taycan was added to Porsche’s lineup very recently, it’s actually going on five years since the Taycan was first introduced. Along with the reveal of Porsche’s second all-electric model, the new electric version of the Porsche Macan, Porsche is set to reveal a new, revamped version of the Taycan, ushering in a new chapter in Porsche’s electrification journey. The new generation models are now in their final testing phase, with over 2 million testing miles covered thus far, covering race tracks and public roads, in conditions ranging from Death Valley to the Arctic Circle. The brief: “Faster, Higher, Further,” which means that Porsche has set out to improve the Taycan’s engineering and design on all fronts, seeking out higher performance, improved dynamics, increased driving capability and practicality, and greater electric efficiency. Like the current generation, the Taycan will be available as a sports sedan, a Cross Turismo, and a Sport Turismo, but for the new generation, the Cross Turismo will be available with an off-road package. With the new Taycan on the horizon, Porsche is ready to continue and commit to its electrified approach to excellent luxury and performance, and the Taycan is set to remain at the forefront. With a new Nürburgring record under its belt already and the success of this intense testing, the new Porsche Taycan will surely be great. View All Porsche Taycans For Sale Image Source: Porsche

The iconic Ice Race is back after three years, now covering two continents and partnered with Porsche Design for a unique timepiece. After a thrilling three-year break, the legendary Ice Race is making a grand comeback, promising more excitement than ever before. F.A.T. International is all set to reinvigorate this Porsche-fueled event, overcoming any weather challenges and expanding its reach across the globe. The race's grand return will begin in Zell am See, the heartland of F.A.T. International, before making its way to the majestic Rocky Mountains for an exciting second round. Porsche Design, the event's official timing partner since 2020, is elevating the experience with their recent trip into the deserts of Dubai. In this exotic locale, Ferdinand Porsche himself took a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, adorned with an exclusive F.A.T. livery, for a desert-drifting run. Alongside this display of performance expertise, the latest collaborative creation, the Chronograph 1 Utility - Limited Edition, was also put through its paces. Porsche Design has a legacy of horology dating back to the late 1970s, with the stainless steel Military Chronograph. Originally designed with a matte-black PVD coating for minimal reflection and optimal readability, it was a favorite among international air forces, including the U.S. Air Force. Today, the iconic timepiece is reborn in partnership with F.A.T. International. The Military Chronograph transforms into the Utility model, boasting 100% scratch-resistant titanium carbide, making it an ideal accessory for any adventure. The Chronograph 1 Utility - Limited Edition is an example of Porsche Design's dedication to innovation and style. With Ferdinand Porsche's influential touch, the watch features the iconic F.A.T. Porsche Preps For The Debut Of The New All-Electric Macan...

The newest Porsche Macan is set to make its grand debut later this week. While Porsche is historically renowned for crafting some of the most beautiful, powerful, and valuable sports cars, the brand's ongoing evolution helped to shape a new perspective for the luxury SUV. The Cayenne paved the way for the modern SUV, offering German performance and luxury that would attract an entirely new customer base. Fast forward a few years, and the Porsche Macan made its debut as the newest and smaller sibling to the Cayenne. Today, Porsche is pleased to announce that it will be presenting the new all-electric Macan as part of a grand unveiling happening in Singapore. The world premiere of the newest Porsche Macan will take place on Thursday, January 25th, and will be broadcast live in the Porsche Newsroom. Before the new Porsche Macan hits the spotlight, Michael Mauer, the Vice President of Style at Porsche, gets real about the challenge of giving this beloved SUV a fresh look. “This Macan is a big deal for us – it's our first time electrifying a car that's already a hit,” he says. Mauer believes each new sports car must scream 'Porsche' and scream 'new' at the same time. For him, it’s all about keeping that classic Porsche vibe while pushing the envelope. He admits it’s not always easy to strike that perfect balance between iconic and innovative, but that’s the thrill of the job. Tune into duPont REGISTRY this week to catch a first look at the all-new electrified Porsche Macan SUV. Porsche Panamera's New Color Palette: A Daring Evolution

Porsche is once again pushing boundaries through its lineup of performance focused sports cars and SUVs, this time with its color palette. The new exterior colors of the Panamera, like the Madeira Gold Metallic, are an example of Porsche's daring and innovative spirit that dates back to icons like the 964 911 Turbo. The color scheme of Porsche has experienced an exciting evolution, now categorized into four distinct themes: Contrasts, Shades, Dreams, and Legends. Contrasts are all about classic, timeless colors like black and white, offering a visual impact that won't break the bank. Shades include a range of white, grey, and black variations, like the new Ice Grey Metallic for the Panamera. The Dreams category is where Porsche lets its creativity shine. It features strong, bright colors for those owners who want to make a bold statement. New additions like Lugano Blue and Madeira Gold Metallic are best described as true head-turners. Legends is a collection of unique, elegant, and modern tones that are both timeless and trendy, like Montego Blue Metallic and Slate Grey Neo. Porsche's beloved 'Paint to Sample' and 'Paint to Sample Plus' programs allow for an even more personalized touch. With more than 170 colors, including classic Porsche hues and the option to create custom colors, the possibilities are endless. Learn how to sell your Porsche online. Volker Müller, Head of Colour & Trim at Style Porsche, emphasizes the importance of colors and their need to be timeless. Inspiration for these colors comes from various fields like fashion and architecture. The brand's history also plays a crucial role, with colors like Madeira Gold Metallic being modern interpretations of classic hues. The selection process is strict, with only a handful of the 12 to 15 new colors designed annually making it to production. The journey from an idea to a paint color is complex and collaborative. Mood boards, discussions with suppliers, and testing for technical feasibility and market preferences are all part of the process. Each color must complement Porsche's interior materials and undergo extensive testing, including durability and quality assurance. The new Panamera color range is a perfect example of how Porsche continues to set trends while staying true to its heritage. Watch Shmee150's First Drive In The $4M Singer Reimagined...

With a seven-figure price tag and wet Scotland roads, its safe to say Shmee eased into the power. At Singer Reimagined, a team of expert engineers breathes new life into early-model Porsche 911s, transforming them into bespoke masterpieces through ground-up commissions. This seven-figure restoration process is a creative journey where the owners' visions become critical to the reinvention, ensuring that each and every 911 is as unique as its driver. The blend of technical experience and personalized design keeps the legacy of the classic 911 alive, making it the ultimate investment supercar. Given the unbelievable opportunity to experience a Singer Reimagined 911 firsthand, Shmee150 travels to Scotland to drive his friend's 'Peppermint' DLS commission. The name DLS is short for "Dynamics & Lightweighting Study" and stands out as an exclusive example of only 75 units worldwide, which is why its current value sits over $4 million. Even given the rather cold and rainy day, Shmee's excitement is through the roof as he just finished a drive in the 1-of-15 Lamborghini Reventon Roadster before stepping into the 911 DLS. With weight savings in mind, Singer Reimagined achieves its sub 2,200lbs design using a full carbon body with a wider and more aggressive appearance. Every inch of its exterior and interior highlights the meticulous craftsmanship of Singer, leaving no stone unturned considering every nut and bolt. Porsche's original 964 flat-six has been transplanted with Singer's upgraded 500 horsepower 4.0L naturally-aspirated flat-six. Judging from the massive smile on Shmee's face while listening to the symphony of sounds, the experience of slowly building up to the DLS' 9,300rpm redline is the perfect way to start the New Year. Upcoming New Porsche Taycan Model Breaks Previous Nürburg...

Porsche continues to raise the bar of electric performance. In the automotive world, the Nürburgring Nordschleife is one of the most revered, respected, and challenging tests of performance, engineering and skill, and a lap time on the feared track is one of the most irrefutable measures of excellence when it comes to both a car and its driver. As the industry’s sweeping transition to electrification enters full swing, electric vehicles are no exception when it comes to trial by Nürburging. In August 2022, Porsche took the Taycan Turbo S to the Nürburgring to test its mettle, and with a performance package, the electric sport sedan delivered incredibly impressive performance on the track. However, the legendary 75-year-old luxury performance manufacturer wasn’t satisfied with just that, and returned with a pre-series upcoming performance-focused model of the Taycan to improve the lap time even further. The pre-series track-focused Taycan not only became the fastest electric Porsche to take the track, but improved on the Taycan Turbo S’s lap time by an incredible 26 seconds, an immense gap in the world of racing. The lap time was 7:05.55, putting the pre-series Taycan model in the league of electric hypercars, and otherwise cementing its place in the revered realm of performance cars with low 7-minute times on the Nordschleife route. Represented in distance, that 26-second gap meant that when driver Lars Kern crossed the finish line in the new upcoming Taycan, he was almost a mile ahead of where he was in the Taycan Turbo S during its previous record run. With this new high-performance all-electric Porsche Taycan model on the horizon, it’s already proved its incredible track-focused performance in arguably the most spectacular way possible. While we are certainly anticipating more information about this new Porsche Taycan, we already have confirmation that among electric performance cars, it’s a force to be reckoned with on the track. Merit Partners Acquires 4 Ultra-Rare PTS 997.2 Porsche 91...

These incredible cars are iconic, fast, rare, and unique. For any Porsche enthusiast or exotic car collector, there’s nothing quite like a Paint to Sample Porsche. With unique colors and an elevated degree of exclusivity, Paint to Sample cars make for some of the most precious gems in the Porsche world. However, when you combine a Porsche model that was rare in the first place with the enviable exclusivity of Paint to Sample, you get some of the most desirable Porsches ever, and that’s exactly what these four examples of the 997.2 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 3.8, in the private collection at Merit Partners are. Roughly 1,500 examples of the 997.2 generation of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 2.8 were delivered worldwide, with 612 examples built for the United States and Canada. However, only 46 of those were made with Paint to Sample configurations. Merit Partners has acquired 4 of those 46 examples for sale, representing nearly 10 percent of all of the US Paint to Sample 997.2 911 GT3 RS 3.8s made. RS Green was one of the communication colors for the 997.1 GT3 RS, however, it was only available as a Paint to Sample color for the 997.2 generation. This example is not only one of only two North American examples in this color, but it’s also the lowest-mileage PTS example existing with only 80 miles on its odometer. The beautiful Paint to Sample Riviera Blue adorns only 6 North American examples, and this one is the lowest mileage one with only 2,522 miles. It was modified with Porsche Motorsports OEM parts by Toronto-based Pfaff Motorsports before its first delivery. GT Silver Metallic is one of the most iconic colors in Porsche’s expansive library. Only five examples of the 997.2 GT3 RS 3.8 were made in this color, and Merit Partners has acquired the lowest-mileage one, with only 1,850 miles on its odometer. In addition, the car has never before been publicly seen or photographed. Introduced in the 997 generation, Meteor Grey is only featured on one 997.2 GT3 RS 3.8 in North America, and Merit Partners has acquired it, with only 1,088 miles on its odometer. Like the GT Silver example, the car has never before been seen or photographed publicly. With an incredible private collection, Merit Partners has added to it some of the most incredible existing Porsches, featuring ultra-rare Paint to Sample colors, incredibly low mileage, and of course the GT3 RS’s track-ready engineering and performance. 75 years into Porsche’s history, and 60 years into that of the 911, these four masterpieces celebrate the legendary legacy of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and Porsche’s legacy as a whole.
