The New 992 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Is 10.6 Seconds Faster At ...

The new 992 Porsche 911 GT3 RS passed the ultimate performance test with flying colors. When Porsche revealed the 992 generation of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, fans and enthusiasts couldn’t help but wonder how Porsche could possibly improve on the 992 911 GT3, which is already one of the greatest performance cars Porsche has ever made. Despite the GT3’s excellence, Porsche still had more tricks up its sleeve when it came to the GT3 RS, which has more power and an even more extreme racing focus. MUST READ: 2020 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Price and Specs Driven by Jörg Bergmeister, the new 992 911 GT3 RS simply begs to take on the Nürburgring with its racing capability, and once it took on the Nordschleife course of the track, that racing capability was definitely realized. A Nürburgring lap time under 7 minutes is an indicator of quite the formidable performance car, and while the 992 911 GT3 was able to achieve that, the GT3 RS not only improved on that time, but did so by an incredible amount of 10.6 seconds, coming it at 6:49.328. Porsche spared no effort or expense when it comes to making the 911 GT3 RS an incredible performance 911, and this jaw-dropping lap time is the result. View All Porsche 911s For Sale Source: Porsche

The 8th Luftgekühlt Porsche Event In LA Was A Success

The passion for the air-cooled 911 only grows stronger. Decades have passed since Porsche made the then-controversial switch, transitioning the Porsche 911 from using an air-cooled engine to a water-cooled one instead. However, as the years have gone by, rather than move on from the air-cooled Porsche 911, fans have only let their love for it grow stronger, which is why the Luftgekühlt event, literally translating to “air-cooled” from German, retains such strong attendance. The event celebrated its eighth iteration this past weekend. Founded in Los Angeles by Porsche factory driver Patrick Long, Jeff Zwart, and Howie Idelson, Luftgekühlt 8 was a homecoming for the event, set among 1940s-built warehouses in its hometown. MUST READ: Makes And Movements: Porsche Design GT3 RS Chronograph x Porsche 992 911 GT3 RS Southern California Porsche fans showed strength in numbers, despite a canceled 2020 event and a downsized 2021 event, and some of the most incredible vintage air-cooled Porsches were on display, like a 1956 550A Spyder, a 934/5 by Canepa, and several 70s Carrera RS examples. Fittingly, Porsche Classic made an appearance, with a bare Porsche 356 chassis as part of its display. Owners who want to restore their vintage Porsches were able to see the parts and service offerings Porsche Classic had in its portfolio, as well. With Porsche being one of the most iconic and loved brands in the automotive world, it’s quite unsurprising that the brand’s most iconic creations get so much love. Both models were developed in collaboration with eBike expert Rotwild. Alongside iconic models like the Porsche 911, the German automotive manufacturer also appeals to the growing cycling community with a collection of performance ebikes. After the first successful launch of the eBike Sport and eBike Cross last year, Porsche is proud to introduce two newly updated versions with inspiration from both the bike and luxury auto industries. With a timeless design inspired by the Porsche Taycan, each Porsche eBike presents an organically shaped carbon frame that mirrors the flyline of the sports car. SHOP NOW The Porsche eBike Sport serves its purpose as the perfect everyday commuter roadbike, widening its horizon to city or countryside terrain with new Continental tires. While Porsche equips the Taycan Turbo S and 911 GT3 RS with carbon ceramic brakes, the eBike utilizes a powerful Magura four-piston caliper for better deceleration. The Porsche eBike Sport is driven by a Shimano EP-8 engine and a 630Wh battery, offering instant acceleration for assistance on steep inclines or longer bicycle rides. Showcasing its commitment and ability to travel far away from paved roads, the Porsche eBike Cross solidifies itself as a state-of-the-art mountain bike with performance in mind. Achieving the same power output as the Sport version, the eBike Cross differs by maximizing its off-road potential. Porsche engineered the electric mountain bike with upgrades like Magura-MT trail disc brakes, a Shimano XT derailleur, a hydraulically adjustable Crankbrothers seat post, and a new Fox 34 Performance suspension fork. Conveying the fascination of Porsche on two wheels, the new Porsche Design eBike Collection is currently available starting at $9,500 by clicking on the link below. Porsche Posts Promising Q3 2022 Sales Numbers

Porsche pushes for an impressive third quarter, cutting the year-to-date deficit. The past couple of years has been more than tumultuous for automakers due to many factors outside of their grasp. Thankfully, they have seen quite the recovery and Porsche is no exception. Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) has just announced their Q3 2022 numbers and they have helped cut the automaker's YTD deficit when compared to the 2021. In total, PCNA delivered 16,581 vehicles in the third quarter of 2022 which is an 8.5 percent increase compared to 2021. While the 2022 YTD deliveries are down by 2,505 cars, the promising Q3 results did cut the deficit. “I’m grateful for the relentless enthusiasm of our customers for the Porsche brand as we delivered 16,581 cars in the past quarter, while at the same time working with our teams in Germany and the U.S., and with our dealers, to reduce wait times to a minimum,” said Kjell Gruner, President and CEO of PCNA. “Our order books are in good health across the range of Porsche models. The ongoing expansion of new dealership facilities that offer a walk-in brand experience and a real ‘wow’ factor is also helping connect new audiences with our legendary cars.” In other good news, PCNA noted that the Porsche-approved Certified Pro-Owned (CPO) U.S. sales were up by 9.7 percent for the first nine months in 2022 when compared to the same period in 2021. As far as what's selling, the Cayenne and Macan took the top two spots, with the 911 in third. The all-electric Taycan took the fourth spot, a promising place for the new model. Porsche IPO Listed With $72 Billion Valuation

It's a tough time to launch an IPO, but that's not stopping Porsche. After months of speculation and wait, Porsche AG has finally been listed in the German stock market with a strong valuation of $72 million. At that amount, Porsche's IPO has become the second biggest market debut in Germany. On top of the fantastic valuation, Porsche's stock began trading up 3% from its issue price of 82.50 euros after it was listed. That's a very promising start for the highly anticipated IPO. Why is Porsche IPO doing so well? There are many answers to that. First, Porsche is diving headfirst into electrification and has laid it all out for the public to see. From the all-electric Taycan to plug-in variants of the Cayenne and Panamera, Porsche has quickly engineered and adapted their new electrified powertrains to fit the needs of their customers. Secondly, Porsche is an unbelievably well-known company with decades of success and the name itself is known by everyone. With such a strong brand presence and known for well-built automobiles, no one could ever imagine the Porsche brand declining in popularity or quality. Let's face it, everyone wants a Porsche, and those who buy them want more. This is a very promising start for Porsche's IPO and we can't see where it goes next.
