Community is one of the biggest perks of being a car enthusiast, including participation in shows, road trips, and rallies with fellow owners and enthusiasts. With over 75 years of history and a longstanding lineup of celebrated luxury sports cars, Porsche has some of the automotive industry’s most passionate subcultures of enthusiasts and vibrant communities. One of those is Registro Italiano E-motion, the world’s first all-electric Porsche Club.
The club recently embarked on its first road trip, meeting at the Franciacorta Porsche Experience Center to begin. There, a total of 73 Porsche Macan Electric and Taycan cars gathered to make the trip from there to Hans-Peter Porsche’s Traumwerk museum, located just outside Salzburg, Austria. Based in Milan, IT specialist and Taycan GTS Sport Turismo owner Andrea Siviero serves as a spokesperson for the club, and is one of 131 participants in the road trip.

The 73 vehicles were made up of 42 Taycans and 31 Macans, with rear and all-wheel drive variants, and even two Taycan Turbo GT cars present. Some of the cars in the group were Paint to Sample vehicles, and the Taycan Turbo GTs featured were equipped with the Weissach Package. Before the club, a group of Taycan owners gathered online to discuss their EVs, and eventually formed an official club, an idea that wasn’t just approved by the community, but also by Porsche Italia.
The weekend drive included scenic roads, social charging breaks, and the joy of driving, futurized by electrification. With dozens of Porsche EVs, and over a hundred enthusiasts coming together to enjoy them, the first road trip of the Registro Italiano E-motion shows that the community aspect of car enthusiasts is very much a part of the electric future of the automotive industry.
