Recently revealed as four-wheel lookalikes inspired by the star characters of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, the three one-of-one Porsche 911 models have gone viral worldwide. Embodying the spirit of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie, the customized Sonderwunsch (”Special Wishes”) 911s first made their appearance at the red-carpet World Premiere. Today, the trio is making a real-world impact as an intended buyer has committed to donate $3 million, with $1 million designated for three non-profit organizations.
“Our passion for unique Porsches and giving back runs as deep as our love of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and the rest of the Toy Story 5 characters. Seeing the teams at Porsche and Pixar come together with their creativity and resources to bless and inspire others is something that is easy to get behind, matching our resources with theirs to expand the potential impact. It truly hits on all cylinders for us, and we hope it inspires others to do the same.” - Anonymous Buyer
The buyer, who would like to remain anonymous, is a passionate Porsche Collector and philanthropist, crediting his faith and family as his biggest motivators to support those in need. The seven-figure sale of the 911 GT3 RS inspired by Buzz Lightyear, the 911 Targa 4 GTS inspired by Jessie, and the 911 Carrera T inspired by Woody will benefit Big Brother Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross, and Starlight Children’s Foundation.
“We are incredibly grateful to the buyer for this generous $3 million donation, which will directly support organizations doing critical work every day. It’s a powerful reminder of what can happen when passion and purpose come together.” - Timo Resch, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America
The fleet of Toy Story 5 Porsche 911s is currently on a tour across the United States, appearing at events hosted by the non-profit partners connected to the buyer’s generous donation. After the trek across the country, the cars are expected to be formally delivered to their new owner during Monterey Car Week in August.
