Green Lightning: This 1972 AMC Javelin Redefines the Art of Pro Touring Power

Few builds achieve the perfect balance between heritage and innovation—but this 1972 AMC Javelin by JA Customs does just that. The result of a rotisserie restoration and pro-touring build that consumed more than 3,000 meticulous hours, this stunning creation elevates one of America’s most distinctive muscle cars into a world-class performance machine.

Every factory body panel remains intact, proudly wearing its original stampings, yet beneath the classic silhouette beats the heart of modern ferocity—a supercharged Hellcat Redeye 6.2L V-8 delivering a jaw-dropping 900 horsepower. Tuned by 2Fast Performance and supported by a Mopar Redeye wiring harness and Demon Hemi controller, the Javelin combines vintage attitude with modern reliability. Performance upgrades include a Texas Speed camshaft, Moroso dual-fan heat exchanger, aluminum radiator, and a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission.

Finished in a show-stopping Viper Stryker Green Glasurit paint with a black vinyl top and carbon Kevlar hood, this Javelin looks every bit as fast as it feels. Inside, Black Nappatek and Relicate Tartan Red upholstery, a custom billet steering wheel, and air conditioning blend luxury and aggression.

A Control Freak independent suspension, Viking coilovers, Ford 9-inch rear, and Brembo big brakes ensure cutting-edge handling, while Demon-style wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires plant the power with authority.Driven just 50 miles since completion and stored in climate-controlled perfection, this one-of-one Javelin isn’t merely restored—it’s reimagined. For the discerning collector, it represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship, performance, and preservation—a masterwork where American muscle meets modern artistry.
