2019 Aston Martin Vantage: Extreme Winter Drive

Testing is an essential part of building any new model. For the return of the Vantage, Aston Martin has assaulted the Arctic at their Finnish proving grounds. Carfection was invited to drive a VP car along with Chief Engineer Matt Becker. The Validation Prototype is the 3rd and final series of test cars that were built to make the new Vantage simply unbeatable.Next-Gen 2018 Aston Martin Vantage is Finally HereStarting with powertrain mules, these are older cars fitted with new engines and running gear to make sure they are well calibrated. The M1 cars were used to set up the chassis under an older body. Finally, these VP cars have the final body and chassis, with the only unfinished parameters being the power steering feedback. As Mr. Becker explains, it will take warmer weather to calibrate the steering, as the snow offers little resistance to changes in direction. After 20,000 kilometers of cold weather validation, the team will head to Arizona for punishing sweat tests. The new Vantage will shake up the market when it arrives, so stay with us for all your Aston Martin updates.Aston Martin Vantages For Sale

Chris Harris Reviews Porsche 911 R vs Aston Martin V12 Va...

Alright, I get it, a lot of you don't like Top Gear since Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond left. But, drop that train of thought for just a couple of seconds and think back to the time when Chris Harris was one of THE automotive YouTubers. Remember when we all used to enjoy all of his videos? Well, you still can enjoy him on YouTube, but now he has a bigger budget and they're being posted by the Top Gear channel. This is Chris Harris Drives.(Related - Chris Harris and Rory Reid Join Matt LeBlanc as Top Gear Hosts)In his latest video, Harris warms up his left foot for some three-pedal action with the Porsche 911 R and Aston Martin V12 Vantage S. The two cars each feature a manual gearbox, which is, unfortunately, a rarity in the year 2016. He takes the cars through some gorgeous back roads and out for some laps at the Anglesey Circuit. Which car did he like better: the V12 tourer or the flat-six German sports car? Click play on the video below to find out.View 911 R For Sale | View V12 Vantage S For Sale

Aston Martin V8 Vantage S Blades Edition: Inspired By Flight

Five lucky Aston Martin owners have taken delivery of the most beautiful V8 Vantage S models we have ever seen. The Blades are a British Aerobatic team regarded as the best civilian aviators in the world. To showcase the abilities of Aston Martin's Q customization department, each V8 Vantage S was built to replicate one of the five stunt planes flown by The Blades. In a YouTube video uploaded earlier this morning, it is easy to see how potent the Vantage S really is.Aston Martin spared no expense for the new owners, as they were given training in an F1 simulator along with flight instruction in the team's chase helicopter. With each car serialized to a plane's tail number and the pilot's name on the rocker panel, they attacked the tarmac in a battle of air vs land. The V8 Vantage S has no problem outrunning performance tuned aircraft, but it makes for great entertainment. It looks as if there is no limit to what Aston Martin's Q division can accomplish, so stay tuned to Autofluence for more Aston Martin news.V8 Vantages For Sale
