The Swiss watch manufacturer is best known for incorporating true functionality and performance made to conquer any conditions thrown in its way. Ulysse Nardin is proud to offer a new selection of luxury timepieces that derive inspiration from a celestial voyage starting 300 meters below the sea and ending 30,000 above water. During the Vertical Odyssey, Ulysse Nardin reveals three new pieces featuring the Diver X Skeleton, UFO Chronometer, and Blast Hourstriker. Each model incorporates its own design and functionality focused towards its intended purpose on its exploration to discover. All new models part of the Ulysse Nardin Vertical Odyssey are currently available through an authorized dealer or by clicking the links below. Diver X Skeleton Starting at depths of 300-meters below the sea, the new Ulysse Nardin Diver X Skeleton is the first to begin the exploration of the Vertical Odyssey. The brand’s strong ties to the world of sea-inspired watches continue to reinvent and push the boundaries of what is possible for humans to discover below the surface. The Diver X Skeleton uses a 44mm blue PVD case and blue Carbonium rotating bezel, ensuring a lightweight feel paired with the strength to take impacts. The central X Skeleton dial allows for a closer look at the inner workings of the in-house UN-372 automatic movement, capable of holding a 96-hour power reserve for its hours, minutes, and seconds functions. Shop Ulysse Nardin Diver X Skeleton UFO Chronometer Ulysse Nardin is celebrating its 175th anniversary in clockmaking by reimagined the chronometer as a one-of-a-kind modernly designed table clock. The limited-edition Ulysse Nardin UFO is best described as a work of art, which is true as all domed glass cases are created by 26-year old artisan glass blower Romain Montero. Starting at the bottom, the UFO housing is crafted from blue aluminum and stands as the base for the 675 components that work in unison to achieve accuracy. The Ulysse Nardin UFO is driven by an in-house UN-902 Table Clock movement equipped with six barrels, capable of retaining a 1-year power reserve. Along with its modernly complex design, it also features functions to keep 3 time zones, as well as hours, minutes, and seconds functions. Attached at the base is a plaque engraved with the production number of the limited 75 pieces produced. The Ulysse Nardin UFO Chronometer table clock is currently available through an authorized dealer for $41,100. Shop Ulysse Nardin UFO Blast Hourstriker Pushing the limits of sound and space, Ulysse Nardin introduces the new Blast Hourstriker as its final luxury timepiece addition to the Vertical Odyssey collection. Beginning the construction of the Blast Hourstriker, Ulysse Nardin engineers set goals of improving the quality/power output ratio and designing a visible chiming mechanism located on the dial side, which they successfully did. The 45mm case is made from 5N Rose Gold, Black DLC Titanium, and Glassbox Sapphire glass. Inside the transparent central X dial, the automatic flying Tourbillon is proudly displayed at the 6 o’clock location, drawing the eyes of collectors and enthusiasts of all kinds. An in-house UN-621 automatic movement powers the Ulysse Nardin Blast Hourstriker, holding a 60-hour power reserve and 30-meter water resistance. The 5N Rose Gold back case features an engraving of the Ulysse Nardin X logo, as well as numerics signifying the special edition release. Ulysse Nardin continues its versatility with three available strap materials, including alligator leather, velvet, or rubber.
