As Monterey Car Week quickly approaches, manufacturers from around the world are finalizing their plans and presence at what’s become one of the most anticipated weeks on the automotive calendar. Along with taking part in all the festivities scattered amongst the peninsula, it offers brands the opportunity to showcase their latest and greatest creations, whether it's casually cruising 17-Mile Drive or making a public debut at The Quail. Zenvo Automotive is taking advantage of its time at Monterey Car Week this year, announcing that it will be displaying the pre-production Aurora Tur alongside the Aurora Agil variant show car throughout the week. At The Zenvo House, the team will be hosting customers, prospects, dealers, and media for the first U.S. debut of the Aurora Tur. Engineered as a more refined grand tourer, it is based on the lightweight, track-focused yet fully road-legal Aurora Agil, which debuted at the New York Auto Show earlier this year. The connection between the two variants lies at the rear, where a bespoke 6.6L quad-turbocharged Mjølner V12, developed in partnership with MAHLE Powertrain, produces 1,250 horsepower and revs to 9,800 rpm. Add in an advanced hybrid system, and Aurora’s overall power jumps to 1,850 horsepower. In addition to hosting from its home base in Carmel Valley, the Zenvo Aurora Tur and Aurora Agil will participate in several Monterey Car Week events, including Exotics on Broadway. And while the focus remains on public Car Week activities, Zenvo Automotive will also be holding private appointments, retailer meetings, and media briefings throughout the week.
