Say what you want about the i8, I love the car. The lightweight carbon fiber body and massive torque make for a fun daily driver. Plug it in and you will rarely need to use gas. The press release says these cars represent the First Edition i8 Roadsters, which will be limited to 200 examples. Each one has dry-carbon interior trim, Harmon/Kardon audio and i8 logo floorboard lamps and puddle lamps.
