Bugatti celebrates its rich history with another opulent creation.
Bugatti is known for it’s unparalleled level of craftsmanship, luxury and engineering prowess, and the Chiron Pur Sport is a prominent example of its accolades. However, through Bugatti’s Sur Mesure bespoke division, yet another level of personalization, unique detail, and beauty is added to Bugatti’s incredibly desirable creations. The latest, shown off in a new post on Instagram from Bugatti, is a Chiron Pur Sport ‘Grand Prix,’ created with a unique configuration, as well as an homage to one of the greatest achievements in Bugatti’s rich racing history.
It was in 1931 when Louis Chiron, for whom the Bugatti Chiron hypercar is named, raced in the French Grand Prix, a legendary and revered race, and won, behind the wheel of a Bugatti Type 51 with the number 32. The win cemented Louis Chiron’s name in racing history towards the same name being that of a record-breaking hypercar more than 90 years later with a quad-turbocharged W16 engine and cutting-edge engineering and design. This new ‘Grand Prix’ Chiron Pur Sport features the same number 32 on the side in Grand Prix Red, which contrasts with a bright ‘Blanc’ white paintwork and dark exposed carbon fiber.
Other stunning bespoke details include a red fading “EB” pattern, the name “Bugatti” in red across the rear spoiler, red tinted carbon fiber engine covers, and more. Created as the result of a close collaboration between Bugatti’s Sur Mesure division and a discerning client, this new Bugatti masterpiece proves yet again why Bugatti is at the highest echelon of automotive excellence.
