2026 Bugatti Tourbillon Engine
Retiring the quad-turbo W16, Bugatti has introduced a new V16 engine in the new Tourbillon hypercar. Sourced from renowned manufacturer Cosworth, the Bugatti Tourbillon engine is naturally aspirated in sharp contrast to the Chiron and Veyron, which had four turbochargers in their engines. The engine itself, revving to 9,000 rpm, boasts 1,000 horsepower, and the Tourbillon engine also makes use of three electric motors, which combine for a total power output of 800 hp, making the total Bugatti Tourbillon horsepower a staggering 1,800 hp.

Official performance numbers have not been confirmed for the Bugatti Tourbillon, but thanks to its lightweight construction and innovative powertrain, the Bugatti Tourbillon 0-60 is slated to be around 2 seconds, and the Tourbillon will hit its limited top speed of 248 mph in under 25 seconds. With the Speed Key, however, the Bugatti Tourbillon top speed is 276 mph.
