Cadillac pulls back the curtains on its electric performance debut.
For quite some time, Cadillac has teased the evolution of its V-Series performance-oriented lineup of luxury vehicles to include all-electric models, with the Opulent Velocity concept previewing the potential for electric luxury performance vehicles from Cadillac, and the announcement of the Cadillac Lyriq-V confirmed what the first all-electric performance Cadillac vehicle would be.
Now, Cadillac has fully revealed the new 2026 Lyriq-V, which is not only the first all-electric vehicle to be a part of the Cadillac V-Series, but is also the quickest production Cadillac model yet. With an estimated 615 horsepower and 650 lb/ft of electric torque, the estimated 0-60 time of the new 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V is only 3.3 seconds. The vehicle is launching for the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand markets at a starting MSRP of $79,990 with production starting in early 2025.
The Lyriq-V’s 102-kWh battery promises an estimated 285 miles of range, and features like Velocity Max, V-Mode, Launch Control, Competitive Mode, and a unique sound experience provide the engaging, spirited driving experience that a V-Series Cadillac promises. Visually setting it apart are features like a black painted roof, V-Series sill plates, power-adjustable seat bolsters, and a V-pattern on the seatbacks with available embroidery. With performance in spades, luxurious features, and electric innovation, the new Cadillac Lyriq-V heralds a new era.
