James Hetfield Collection Opens at Petersen Museum

Being the frontman of Metallica has some nice perks. Since 1981, the band has sold millions of albums and received 9 Grammy awards. When he is not shredding on stage, his passion for cars is immense. That is why the James Hetfield Collection has opened at the Petersen Museum.

“Reclaimed Rust” is a display of 10 cars spanning the timeline of his collection. These highly customized rides include a 1948 Jaguar “Black Pearl”, 1934 Packard “Aquarius”, and a 1953 Buick Skylark “Skyscraper. Sponsored by ESP Guitars, they will be on display until the end of October.
