Pro Golfer Paul Casey’s Passion for Porsche

Paul Casey, a professional golfer and friend of ours here at duPont REGISTRY, has had a passion for sports cars since he was kid and it shows. “I’ve basically always loved sports cars. When I was a kid, I had a poster of the Porsche 959 over my bed. I can still remember it so clearly, as if it was today. It was silver. It was perfect,” Casey told Porsche in a press release.

Right now, Casey is competing in the Porsche European Open with his eyes on two prizes: first place and the hole-in-one prize. If he manages to score a hole-in-one, he’ll take home a new Porsche Taycan. If he takes it home, it will join the 911 GT3 RS he drives around on his own time.

After the opening round of the Porsche European Open, Casey was sitting on top. This meant he had the pleasure of driving around the Leader’s Car for the day: a new Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. Not bad.
