Ram finally enters the ring of all-electric American trucks.

While some time has passed since the reveals of electric trucks from both Ford and General Motors, Ram, the missing piece of the United States truck trifecta, has taken more time in becoming a member of the electric truck club. However, with the teaser announcement of the “Ram Revolution” concept, we have known that one was coming, and that concept is finally here as the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept, unveiled at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. With dual-motor all-wheel drive, the ability to haul objects up to 18 feet long, four-wheel steering, and fast charging, the Ram Revolution Concept previews what will be both an excellent EV and an excellent pickup truck.

Ram has announced that in the coming months, a production version of the Ram Revolution Concept, which will be launched in 2024, will be revealed. Once it’s launched, Ram says that it will place a strong focus on excelling in driving range, towing capacity, payload capacity, and charging time. The introduction of this new concept is an important step in parent company Stellantis’s future vision, with the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan moving towards more environmentally-friendly mobility in varying segments. Over the years, Ram’s entire lineup will begin to offer electrified solutions with the goal of changing the landscape of the entire truck segment. With the brand’s existing excellence in trucks, the new Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept hopes to bring Ram’s truck dominance to the electric future.
