De Tomaso has given us a teaser video, titled “anteprima — ‘THE PARADIGM THREAD’,” and a date of December 9, and while this teaser video doesn’t tell us much, but it does tell us to get excited, so that’s what we’ll do.
For those who aren’t well-versed in Italian, Google Translate tells us that “anteprima” means preview. But of what? All we see in the teaser are shifting shapes, silhouettes, and dimly lit kaleidoscope images of De Tomaso’s previous cars like the legendary Pantera and the ultra-rare, one-of-a-kind P72, and then a quick, vague flash of something we’ve never seen before. All we can glean is the back of a car that looks like the De Tomaso Sport 5000, but… different.
