Porsche Is Bringing Back The Rennsport Reunion In 2023

Rennsport Reunion continues in 2023.

Established in 2001, Rennsport is a celebration of Porsche’s racing heritage. Together, both drivers and enthusiasts to a few days of pure Porsche excitement, on and off the track. The first Rennsport event happened at Lime Rock Park in 2001, and since then, it’s seen incredible growth. The last Rennsport event in 2018 ended up drawing in over 80,000 people, and now, the event is returning in 2023. While the location and dates are still to be determined, the CEO of Porsche Cars North America tells us that “Our ambition is to make Rennsport Reunion VII the best one yet.”

“Rennsport” is a word that is close to the Porsche brand. As a matter of fact, Rennsport, which means “race sport” in German, is what “RS” stands for in the names of Porsche’s RS models. While it’s going to be a very long wait until the next Rennsport, and we can’t even say quite how long it’s going to be, there’s no doubt that this is a very exciting announcement.
