RM Sotheby’s first-ever Milan auction proves to be a resounding success.
The results are now in from RM Sotheby’s Milan auction, their first live event in Europe for quite some time. The total in sales from the 19 lot event was a very remarkable €11,635,000 (~$14,000,000). Leading the sales was a 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB, chassis #08641, that was purchased from Roger Vadim in 1966 and eventually owned by his wife, Jane Fonda. Another very notable result was that of a 1988 Lamborghini LM002. This Lamborghini SUV sold for €393,125 (~$473,000), which was a world record price for an LM002.
