The Bridge is one of the most exciting events of the year, if not THE most exciting. Everyone in the automotive space looks forward to attending and anxiously waits for their invitation to arrive. And if you’re lucky enough to receive an invite, you are welcomed into a car-lovers paradise, a luxurious and laid-back affair that is set against the backdrop of the picturesque Bridge Golf Course.
Due to the exclusivity of The Bridge, Shamin Abas, Jeffrey Einhorn, and Bob Rubin organize auxiliary events that allow everyone to be a part of the action. The Bridge at Topping Rose House typically occurs the Sunday following the event. The manicured lawn features a spectacular array of rare cars and inside the house you are treated to a delicious brunch, prepared by celebrated chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Also on Sunday, there is a Cars and Coffee event that is open to the public, allowing those who miss out on Saturday’s excitement to get glimpses of the amazing cars and vendors from the main event. It is presented by Ryan Friedman Motorcars and features a ton of incredible cars. The team has worked hard to curate an action-packed weekend for automotive enthusiasts from around the world.
This year deviated from years past as inclement weather threatened Saturday’s schedule. The Bridge team had to make an extremely difficult decision: they were forced to cancel the Saturday event. But all was forgiven as they organized an incredible Friday evening where attendees and vendors had the chance to enjoy food and drinks while ogling the beautiful cars surrounding the Bridge Clubhouse. Sunday made for a relaxing morning as we gathered at Topping Rose and were greeted by breathtaking automobiles like the Sacrilege Motors electric 964 cab and beautifully prepared food. And with that, the exciting weekend came to a close.
The Bridge is unmatched by any other event in the automotive industry, and if you have the unique experience of being invited, you must go!
