Villa La Massa Excellence Returns October 17-19

Supercar excellence returns to a stunning Italian venue.

Already a gorgeous five-star hotel outside of Florence, Villa La Massa has become known for being the venue for a stunning celebration of contemporary supercars and hypercars known as the Villa La Massa Excellence. Created by Canossa, which is known for its high-end automotive events, Villa La Massa Excellence has been graced by unique supercar masterpieces like the Maserati MC12, the Bugatti Centodieci, the McLaren F1 GTR, and the Ferrari F40 LM.

Set to take place this year from October 17 to 19, the Villa La Massa Excellence is set to bring some of the world’s most desirable, rare, exclusive, and beautiful cars to the garden of Villa La Massa, with a Concours featuring a diverse jury with expertise in the automotive, art, culture, and fashion realms. The jury consists of Laura Confalonieri, a journalist, Katarina Kyvalova, a collector and racing driver, Maria Mantero, an art and fashion expert, Clara Bona, an architect and journalist, Emmanuel Bacquet, a curator and museum consultant, Fabio Filippini, an automotive designer and author, Stefano Guindani, a fashion photographer and philanthropist, and Marco Makaus, an automotive event organizer. Massimo Delbò, an automotive historian and journalist, serves as the Jury President.

The public, as well as a young jury consisting of children up to 12 years of age, will participate in the event, as well. Tickets will be made available for public access to see the exhibition area, and the parade and awards ceremony. The Villa La Massa Excellence show will present “Supercars Firenze” awards, with three winners in two categories: Evolution and Innovation, as well as special awards like one for the highest mileage car and the car that drove the furthest to the event.

A gala dinner will serve as the conclusion to the day, at Vito Mollica’s “Atto” at Palazzo Portinari Salviati in the heart of Florence, where the Best of Show - Coppa d’Oro Villa La Masa award will be given. The award pays homage to Coppa d’Oro awarded at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, and the Sunday conclusion of the event will consist of a tour with a lunch stop at Monteriggioni, showcasing the incredible exclusive vehicles on the road for the public to see in action. With its third edition continuing to build a new tradition of automotive excellence, the Villa La Massa Excellence is bringing supercar excellence to one of Italy’s most beautiful venues in October.
