Novitec transforms Ferrari’s open-top V6 supercar.
The Ferrari 296 GTB and GTS are groundbreaking moments in the Prancing Horse’s history of over 75 years. Not only are the two the latest evolution in Ferrari’s hybrid supercar innovation, they are also the first supercars to both wear a Prancing Horse badge and have a V6 engine lying within. Combining Ferrari’s new “Piccolo V12” V6 engine with electric power has made them both formidable performance machines, and the 296 GTS introduces open-air thrills to the mix with its open top.
Known for its customizations and modifications to the world’s highest echelon of supercars and hypercars, Novitec has introduced its range of customizations available for the Ferrari 296 GTS, including tweaks to the V6-powered Italian supercar’s looks, aerodynamics, and of course, its performance.
Throughout the Ferrari 296 GTB’s exterior, Novitec has introduced a collection of carbon fiber body kit pieces that add a sportier, more aggressive look and enhance the vehicle’s aerodynamics for even better performance. The kit includes a front lip spoiler, rocker panels, a ducktail rear spoiler, a diffuser, and trim for the side view mirrors.
Meanwhile, custom wheels distinguish the supercar even further, with staggered sizing of 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the back. They are available in an incredible spectrum of 72 colors with brushed or polished finishes. Lowering the ride height of the car also enhances its performance-oriented look.
Novitec’s customization of the Ferrari 296 GTS also went under the hood, modifying the twin-turbocharged V6 engine with custom turbo inlets and a custom exhaust system. This changes the engine’s sound and increases the total power to 868 horsepower, rendering its custom version of the Ferrari 296 GTS a truly formidable supercar. With modified looks, enhanced aerodynamics, bolstered power, and an available custom interior from Novitec, the Ferrari 296 GTS can become a unique, head-turning performance machine.
