A legendary Ferrari creation gets a new set of rubber.
Over 20 years ago, Ferrari shook up the automotive world with the introduction of the Enzo, its exclusive flagship supercar of the 2000s, featuring an unforgettable design, a mid-mounted V12, and racing-inspired engineering innovation. In the two decades that have passed since, the Ferrari Enzo remains one of the most beautiful and desirable automotive creations, and Ferrari still celebrates its impact and legacy and preserves its splendor with Ferrari’s latest announcement.
Despite being a supercar from 2002, Ferrari has collaborated with Pirelli to create new tires for the Ferrari Enzo. This comes after Pirelli and Ferrari have made new sets of tires for the Enzo’s predecessors, the F50 and F40 supercars. The new Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires retain the dimensions and compatibility with the original Enzo but use new state-of-the-art materials and technology to modernize their performance abilities.
With the three supercar models that received new tires all part of an elite group of special Ferrari supercars named the “Big Five,” Ferrari is now currently developing a new set of tires for the 1980s Ferrari 288 GTO, the first supercar in the Big Five group. The final member of the Big Five is the more modern Ferrari LaFerrari, the legendary hybrid hypercar that also claims a spot in the hybrid hypercar “Holy Trinity” of the early 2010s. With modernized tires making these legendary vehicles handle with modern confidence, Ferrari is preserving its rich legacy in a dynamic way.
