Gas Monkey Garage, in 2013, took a damaged Ferrari F40 into their shop and refurbished it, breathing new life into it. Shortly after its unveiling, the car was auctioned off through Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction in 2014. Since then, it has changed hands multiple times and now it’s back up for auction after it was taken by the U.S. Marshals Service.
As far as what Gas Monkey Garage did to the car, it’s quite a bit but all came together beautifully. It’s outside was finished in a glossy black finish, which is complemented by black HRE wheels.
