Ferrari’s upcoming EV has been spied in testing.
Ferrari is already celebrated for its incredible electrified lineup, with models like the SF90 and 296 using hybrid assistance, succeeding the pioneering LaFerrari in using electric power to reach new performance heights. However, Ferrari is going even further with electrification, previously announcing that it would unveil a fully electric model. In addition, the historic Prancing Horse brand has also recently inaugurated its new e-Building facility, a new building in which it will manufacture combustion models, hybrid models, and its future lineup of EVs.
YouTube channel Acriore captured the new prototype of the upcoming Ferrari EV at Ferrari’s Maranello, Italy, headquarters. In extensive camouflage, it appears to have a crossover/SUV body style, and despite being a prototype for an EV, it’s been fitted with what looks like tailpipes.
The footage of the upcoming electric vehicle sees it quietly cruising around the Ferrari headquarters, and it’s one of the first looks at what the electrified future of Ferrari has in store. If the hybrid models from Ferrari are any indication of what the Prancing Horse has in store for the performance and engineering of its first fully-electric model, we can expect it to be a highly innovative and exciting vehicle that uses cutting-edge technology to deliver thrilling performance and driving character.
