Ferrari’s first road-legal XX series supercar lands stateside in a menacing spec.

We live in a day and age where producing 1,000 horsepower is no longer a challenging feat for engineers, which leaves power-hungry masterminds like Ferrari to drum up something entirely new for their thrill-seeking clientele. Derived from its exclusive customer race program, the Ferrari SF90 XX and SF90 XX Spider channels the spirit of track-only icons like the FXX-K EVO and 599XX in a road-legal format. The ultra-limited production run makes history as it’s the first time that Ferrari ever engineered a race-bred XX Series supercar for the road. And while customers patiently await the delivery of their own examples, the team at Ferrari Beverly Hills is proud to showcase the recent delivery of a truly incredible Ferrari SF90 XX Spider.
With only 799 coupes and 599 spiders slotted for production, this Ferrari SF90 XX Spider is already making waves being one of only a handful of examples currently in the U.S. This spec shies away from traditional Ferrari shades like Rosso Corsa and Giallo Modena, and instead, opts for a more stealth-inspired Nero finish that subtly conceals its areo extras. Adding contrast while highlighting the SF90 XX Spider’s lightweight design, this build comes optioned with gloss red carbon fiber exterior trim. The burgundy carbon cross-weave catches the light perfectly and exposes areas of the car like the front splitter, hood vents, side intakes, engine cover, and rear wing.
Inside, the cabin remains calm, cool, and collected, with a stripped-down interior that pays homage to predecessors like the 360 Challenge Stradale, 458 Speciale, and 488 Pista. Black Alcantara serves as the base layer, with vibrant touches of dark red on the racing wheel and bucket seats to mirror the use of exterior carbon. Ferrari very much so focused on the styling of the SF90 XX interior to lean more toward fit and function rather than refined and luxurious.
The Ferrari SF90 XX Spider takes things to an entirely different level with its electrified powertrain, pairing a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 with three electric motors for a combined 1,016 horsepower. Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, making for lightning-fast gear changes and relentless acceleration. The result? A 0–62 mph time of just 2.3 seconds and a top speed that brushes past 200 mph.
