Ferrari brings new competition to a mobile game sensation.
Car enthusiast gamers will know the Asphalt series as a mobile game with an expansive car list, vivid racetrack settings, and zany stunts. However, Ferrari is teaming up with the Asphalt series’ developer, Gameloft, to add a new aspect to Asphalt Legends Unite, giving the iconic mobile racing game its first-ever esports competition. Through the competition, entrants will have the chance to win big and consider themselves the world’s best Asphalt Legends Unite player.
To qualify in the Ferrari HP Esports Asphalt Series, players can complete on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One & Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 4 or 5, iOS, Android, or PC. The qualifying rounds are set to begin on August 15. The first round features the SF90 XX Stradale, the second features the 488 Challenge Evo, the third features the 599XX Evo, and the fourth features the FXX K.
The fastest two racers from each qualifying round will move on to the finals, where they will compete at Ferrari Land in PortAventura, near Barcelona, Spain, on December 18. The finals will feature the premiere of the Ferrari 499P Modificata, which is the car the finalists will be racing. Starting in just days, the world of Asphalt Legends Unite is about to be home to a high-stakes, high-octane Ferrari esports challenge.
