Ferrari’s new V12 tourer is getting a racing twist.
The cherished legacy of the V12 engine is one of the most important tenets of Ferrari’s history. With over 75 years of legacy rooted in the world of motorsport, many of the most celebrated cars that wear the famed Prancing Horse, both on the track and the road, sport brash, powerful, and brawny V12 engines. The latest V12-powered creation from Ferrari is the 12Cilindri, whose name alone reinforces Ferrari’s commitment to preserving the cherished legacy of the engine, despite also boldly pursuing hybrid powertrains and even an upcoming fully electric model.
Inspired by past V12 touring icons like the 365 Daytona, the new Ferrari 12Cilindri features a futuristic design with a classic grand touring body, featuring a long hood that houses the prized V12 engine. While Ferrari fans are excited for the new V12 flagship tourer from the brand, the 12Cilindri serves as the canvas to display a stunning new iteration of Ferrari’s iconic red inspired by Ferrari’s current racing efforts.
Called Rosso Racing 2025, the new shade of red is available in two finishes: Opaco, a matte that matches the livery of Ferrari’s F1 cars, and Lucido, a gloss that matches the livery of Ferrari’s 499P endurance racing hypercars. Shown on the 12Cilindri Spider with a matching racing-inspired livery in white against the new red color, along with an interior that echoes the new flagship Ferrari F80 with a red driver seat and a black passenger seat, the new color proudly displays Ferrari’s racing legacy on its new V12 tourer. With Rosso Racing 2025, Ferrari owners who want to celebrate the brand’s revered motorsport heritage can feature its flagship race cars’ 2025 color on new Ferrari road cars.
