Dare-devils and explorers don’t tempt fate to impress others, they do it because nobody else would. To push the Ferrari F12tdf into uncharted territory, a savvy and undoubtedly well-connected individual ordered a car with options we’ve never seen. At any given time we have over 60 examples of the F12berlinetta and a few of its beautiful successor, the F12tdf. Named in honor of the famous French race, it is lighter and faster than the Berlinetta. Solid lifters in the valvetrain and a wild compression ratio make for 769 naturally aspirated horsepower. The 6.3 Liter V12 also makes 520 lb-ft of torque across a wide power band. Weighing in at only 3,120 lbs, perhaps it is the world’s greatest GT car.
Attention to weight and performance led to an interior drenched in carbon fiber, but this car has more leather than we have seen. Tan hides were contoured and sewn into the dash, glove box, roof pillars and just about everywhere you look. On the outside, you are treated to adaptive headlights with carbon buckets, 20″ black forged wheels, carbon fiber fog lights, and lifting front suspension. The list of individual options reads like a wish-list to Ferrari fans. Someone had to rob a bank to order this car, but their loss is your gain. Our friends at Excell Auto Group are offering it for sale with only 1,468 miles on the odometer. Save money with this smart investment, but please don’t let it collect dust. The engine isn’t even broken in yet. You deserve to annoy the neighborhood shifting gears at 9,000 rpm. Only 799 examples of the F12tdf were built, so you won’t see anything like this again.
