Considered to be a piece of automotive history, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren tells the tale of two performance icons coming together to create one of the most influential supercars ever. With only 2,157 chassis offered in both coupe and roadster variations, the SLR McLaren now shapes itself as a true collector’s example that continues to appreciate in value. The exotic car professionals at Fort Lauderdale Collection South are proud to present this one-of-a-kind 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren as part of its incredible inventory of exclusive supersets and hypercars.
While most SLR McLaren specs commonly feature a silver or gloss black finishes, the pristine white exterior of this example separates itself from all others in existence. Its aggressive styling is further enhanced using a carbon fiber Mansory package, which improves aerodynamics while adding a unique aesthetic. Carbon fiber is used on the front splitter, hood and fender vent trim, mirror caps, side skirts, rear diffuser, rear spoiler and more. The custom HRE wheels were developed specifically for this car, and the white calipers are also exclusive.
Carbon fiber also adorns the interior of the car on the instrument panel surround trim and cowl, center console, shift lever, door panels, door sills and various trim parts (air vents, switch surrounds, and more). Alcantara is used as the upholstery for the rest of the interior, including on the dash, door panels and Carbon Fiber racing seats.
Although the SLR McLaren’s supercharged 5.4L V8 comes equipped with plenty of power, its performance has been improved greatly with help from the Mercedes-Benz tuners at RennTech. Along with a new power output of 720 horsepower, the suspension has also been upgraded with a modern hydraulic lift system for easier drivability.
