During the past weekend, RM Sotheby’s put on an incredible show at their first-ever Abu Dhabi auction. This event was held in partnership with Formula 1® at the Yas Marina Circuit, right on the starting grid.
During the two hour event, sales totaled at an incredible amount of $31.3 million. There were very notable highlights during the auction, including the one-off 2017 Pagani Zonda Aether that sold for $6,812,000. Michael Schumacher’s championship-winning 2002 Ferrari F2002 also sold for a staggering $6,643,750. This hammer price makes it the second most valuable Formula 1 car sold at auction.
