Given the near-impossible task of creating a successor to the almighty Enzo, the engineers at Ferrari had their work cut out for them. In order to be considered a rightful heir to the throne, the successor had to be painstakingly beautiful, technologically marvelous, and outperform everything else on the road. Upon its arrival, the Ferrari LaFerrari was well-equipped to rise to the occasion and take the throne as the peak of the marque. Featuring a 6.3-liter V12 engine and – for the first time in the history of the brand – an electric motor, the total combined power output of the LaFerrari was 949 brake horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful road-going Ferrari ever produced. Wrapped around this new hybrid powertrain was a Formula 1-grade carbon fiber monocoque, a structure that was 30% more rigid than the one found in the outgoing Enzo. Stopping power was handled by Brembo-supplied carbon-ceramic disc brakes that tied into the hybrid system and offered regenerative braking. On paper, the LaFerrari was a worthy successor.
Now offered for sale, Blue Chip is proud to present this 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari, finished in special-order Grigio Silverstone over a Rossi Leather interior. One of 499 coupes ever produced, this example is incredibly well specified and presents a rare opportunity to acquire a legendary halo of Maranello in its impeccable original condition. Striking exterior features include an optional Sport Exhaust System, enamel Scuderia Ferrari door shields, and a Carbon Fiber Lower Trim, which was a $21,276.00 option from Ferrari. Five-spoke, center-lock, forged-alloy wheels are finished in Black and measure 19 inches in the front and 20 inches in the rear.
Inside the cockpit, bucket seats are upholstered in Rossi Leather with Black accents, and Rossi Leather extends to the lower dash panel and door pulls. The dashboard, headliner, and center console armrest are trimmed in black Alcantara, and carbon-fiber trim is found on the dashboard, door panels, sills, and center console. The square steering wheel is finished in Alcantara and carbon fiber and sits ahead of column-mounted carbon-fiber paddle shifters. The steering wheel wears a “LaFerrari” inscribed plaque and features an engine-start button, a Manettino driving-mode selector, and shift lights.
A recent service was performed by Ferrari of West Palm Beach and the car is currently certified under Ferrari’s optional Power Warranty Program. The High Voltage Battery was tested by Ferrari North America during this inspection process and was deemed healthy and warrantable. All four wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that display 2021 date codes. With just 881 miles from new, this 2014 LaFerrari is in immaculate condition and comes complete with the original window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a Ferrari “Attestation for Special Series Vehicles” book, battery charger, service records, a clean Carfax, and a clean Colorado title.
Also included in the sale is a set of factory LaFerrari five-spoke wheels finished in Silver, which were originally fitted to the car when new. This car is available for immediate inspection and off-site inspections can be coordinated at the buyer’s expense.
