An automotive legend celebrates six decades of performance-oriented design.
As the founder and namesake of a new supercar manufacturer, Gordon Murray is currently building an incredible legacy and adding a new chapter to his incredible heritage in the world of motorsport, automotive performance, and innovative design. His career began with designing race cars, and important moments before the establishment of the icnoic Gordon Murray Automotive include the creation of legends like the McLaren F1 and the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.
This year, Gordon Murray Automotive is celebrating 60 years of its founder’s illustrious career in automotive design, and the stage on which Gordon Murray Automotive has chosen to hold that celebration is one of the greatest venues in the automotive world for celebrations of history: the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Held in the summer at the legendary Goodwood House in England, the Festival of Speed is a yearly celebration of automotive excellence, new and old.
This July at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Gordon Murray Automotive will celebrate the 60th anniversary of Gordon Murray’s illustrious career in design by featuring the current T.50, the T.50s Niki Lauda, the T.33 and the T.33 Spider supercars, along with a selection of historic creations penned by the legendary Gordon Murary from throughout his past career.
In addition, the Goodwood Festival of Speed will serve as the venue for the unveiling of a new Gordon Murray Automotive T.33 supercar. With a special anniversary celebration and something new coming, the rich past and bright future of Gordon Murray’s career in the automotive industry will be part of the spectacle that will be this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
